Thank you for useless Berlin map but

How about most of heavy tanks die before reaching positions?

Unbalanced maps with tons of autoloaders and artilery makes this class totally useless + Gold ammo when you reach position.

Are you thinking about it or just thinking about next crap map you will announce in future?

Got my mauschen and its totally impossible to play

Got my amx m4l just screwed up from emile before I reached cover

Are you thinking about or just wasting your time for next crapmap? Or maketing of crapmap like you wasted your resources for us how good and historical is Berlin map when most of players just blocking it?

Or maybe thinking about 0-15 battles in 2-3 minutes?

Or maybe about droping bellow 50% WR these days because losing 20 battles in a row with bots and afks?

If you're piri-piring with your heavy through the open to get to the bush-kemping TD positions, you're doing it wrong.

 

The brawling area is more important anyways.

How about getting spoted near the base from wheeled cars with your 0camo and 15kmh speed?

Do you mean the place with all the ruins that make for very good cover?

Game is broken as F.

 

I like playing heavy's and sometimes the game starts, I get spotted by a clown car in the first few meters from spawn point and 3-4 shot land rendering almost zero the HP pool.

Unfortunately too many maps are also broken.

 

I don't know if in the old days the words "strategy" and "positioning" meant something, but nowadays not so much.

have you tried a different position or taking a different route to get into position?

as it seems repeating the same thing is not working out great at the moment.

Sure they do, but there are new strategies with new positions.

 

And the times they are a changing

 

(Not necissarily for the better)

People will learn after some time what to do on the map. On Fisherman's Bay heavies used to cros to city too close to the middle and got pummeled there. Then they learned from it and now it's extremely rare to get free shots at them.

Berlin is a map that should work perfectly fine for heavies, even slow ones.


Despite that slow heavies are garbage, at least for me, given that in most maps you end up just hugging cover to not play target practice for 3 clickers.

Fast heavies, or heaviums, are still quite good. Even so i usually avoid heavy lanes on most maps even in heavies, why bother engaging in a sidescrape/hulldown/hug cover waiting session when you can simply plow over the enemy somewhere else and then clean up the heavies still hugging houses/sidescraping etc stuff with overwhelming numbers.

Or in mmorpg words, why bother dealing with the tanks first if you can go for the healers/damage dealers.

Going middle first and then into the heavy lane usually negates the issue as they can´t shoot your side while crossing without overextending to a degree you can just nuke them.

I'd like to see your reasoning why the enemy punishing you exposing your side to the enemy team to take the bad route to a relatively useless area which if you clear it out doesn't contribute much to winning the battle, or at least not as much as simply defending the exit of that area, is a bad thing?

The majority of heavies go faster then 20 so its not an issue. If you expect all maps to be perfectly design to suit your turtle preferred style then i guess sucks to be you.

I died there yesterday with Mauschen.

Spoted near the river by the car and got artilery and TD rain soon.

So tell me what is the tactic there that you know and others don't

This is Highway map

Pic looks old found in google and painted it hope you guess what I am talking about

This is why heavy tank amount in each team is 3-4 most  time with 3 artilery and 5 scouts

Yes, going straight middle is the fastest line. You can then move to the heavy side to guard the exit there in cover from arty and without being hit by scouts or mediums without them over-exposing themselves.

If the enemy destroys you in minute one that close to your own base and that far away from the line of sight of the majority of their tanks, then gg to the enemy team.
