1st Battle
743 base XP = mastery Badge (2). This means that 743 felt somewhere between 80% to 94,99% of performance. From 95% and up to 99% is (1), and then from 99% and up = Mastery.

2nd Battle:
940 base XP = mastery Badge (2). This means that this also felt between 80% and 94,99% of performance.

Well if you do some basic maths, this doesnt agree. Even if 743 was just on the verge of 80%, and 940base XP was the upper limit, the range is greater than 80%-95%.

What i am doing wrong?

The range is determined by the percentage of players that manage the average highest performance, if 80% of the player base has an average highest performance of say less than 700, and 5% of the player base have an average highest performance of 1000, then the 80-95 bracket is 700-1000.

Don't try to apply rigid formulae to a completely random online game. It never works as intended.

I think i got it.

So the 80%-95% isnt a range of XP, but of performance of players. For example a noob friendly tank (lets say arty) might have very small XP range for 80-95% because most players perform similarly, and very small differences differentiate the performance.
