I was wondering what should I get from the 20% off coupons? Or is it even worth getting sth at all?

Apart from premium time, no.

Rule no. 1: Any coupons can never be used to buy something you want or need. They only exist to lure you into buying something you didn’t want to buy in the first place.

Sounds like you also received the "-25% off used condoms" coupon.

I got the “This coupon is valid for any item in the premium store, except: bundles, time limited items, discounted items, gold, premium time, premium vehicles, consumables, directives, items starting and/or ending with a letter from the alphabet, items with a number in it.”

I think it's incredibly nice from WG to make you that offer. They make less money so you can enjoy your premium tank/time. It feels like charity to me.

Great, now they're going to change it to the church of WOT with RNGesus watching over us or the Serbation Army charity in order to get tax write offs.

Even though I usually criticize WG, I must say their cupons and special deals are nice. I rember they offered me a Centurion 5/1 and 180 premium days for the price of the premium days only. Was a sweet sweet deal since I really enjoy that tank.

PS: The cupon won't force you to buy stuff if you don't want to.

I think we both now that coupon never are an actual generous offer, they are just creating an incentive for people to purchase believing they saved money, those people would otherwise not have spent a dime, which ironically would save them more money. Its entry level psychological mind games and it works surprisingly well on certain people.

Exactly. I can imagine that some people are really interested / obsessed (?) by certain vehicle. Such coupon really helps selling it ofcourse. I bet a lot of people have that with tanks like Progetto or Defender. I'm rather interested in more quirky vehicles like 13-57 or VK45.03. That last one still 'intrigues' me; I much rather have that vehicle than the Progetto, Defender or LT432. But do I want to spend money on the game? Meh, not really. Not even if it was 50% off.

I do like though that WG tries to appeal customers with tanks like 'Offspring tank', M48 Raumpz and the Berlin tanks, rather than 'new shiny fotm tonks'.

Completely agree on that. The new favor of the month, broken or op stuff doesn´t need a discount on top.

What a charitable multi-billion corporation giving you a couple of euros off a bunch of immaterial pixels with an arbitrarily determined value backed by nothing but a promise of continued delivery subject to an unsustainable online business model that relies entirely on a constant influx of new players despite horrible new/low-skill player experience and a market increasingly saturated with successful competition.
