Maybe because WG's selling them using another company/name? :harp:

In this case they would make more profit to ban the account shortly after they sold it, to sell more.

Well we don't exactly have any evidence that they aren't, either...

Besides, no matter how many they take down, there will always be more. It's just how it goes, it's not something so easily stopped, unfortunately... Best we can do is report any we see, but it would be hard for just one person to keep up with.

For a Community Contributor, he does have some insane,  ... 'theories'.

Weird thing, he has a large dedicated team of loons that believe every word he says.

Why do you care? Is your personal gaming experience affected by that?

They are using passive / aggresive tactics:
- Sending people around to booster's houses to glare at them in a dissaproving fashion
- Paying little old ladies to make "tsk tsk tsk" sounds and adding an occasional "shame on you" comment to suspected boosters
- Getting mother's and other relatives to call or send texts asking "when they are going to do something useful and productive with their time"
- Buying accounts or services, but then flooding the booster with questions as to
    - Why the MM on the account is rigged
    - Why their premium ammo doesn't pen,but the enemies does
    - Why their EBR isn't as resistant as everyone elses
    - Why arty seem to focus them more than others
    - .....

Give it two or three years and they'll break and stop supplying such services

What can they do, it isn't illegal to sell services on ebay, they can only ban accounts that try to sell these services ingame.

On the part of account selling, the sellers aren't stupid, they will only give an account name if it is paid for (if they atleast have more than one working braincell)

On the part of boosting services, they only thing they can do it set a bait, and try to ip-ban the booster. But this would actually cost money for the bait and I don't even know if WG can (legally) ip-ban someone.

They can't really ask eBay to take these off, they don't really have more information with accounts who used these services/ sold accounts.

So quite frankly, they can't do anything about these services on eBay.

If you can acquire solid evidence that certain accounts are with ties to these services, you are more than welcome to contact Player Support, they will take the appropriate action with these evidence.

Because those people buying those accounts will spend money in the game.

They won't act on it unless you can give them literal conversations between the buyer and seller.

In the past I've pointed them to many so called e-Bay accounts, accounts which average unicum stats and then suddenly and prolongedly perform on a sub tomato level.

This is technically impossible unless the unicum suffered catastrophic brain damage somehow but with the amounts of these accounts I'm seeing, that would be an unrealistic amount of catastrophic brain damage.

A much more reasonable and logical conclusion is that said account has passed hands to a different person.

But WG won't act on these blatant triggers and will ask you to provide proof despite what is there right in front of them visible in plain daylight.

It really doesn't matter if it's legal, IP bans simply don't work, at least not with IPv4.  Getting a new IP address is as simple as turning your router off and on again.

They can ban by hardware address but that's only effective as long as they don't change their hardware.
