Hello all

I have a question....since 2019 and especially 2020 my clan get more inactive by the day.

in 2018 when you came online there where atleast between 15 to 20 clanmembers on daily.and 30 rotating on and off

And atleast 2 to 3 platoons running in Discord.and weekend even more

2019 it became less and less players....

Now 2020 there 3 to 4 clanmembers online nobody is in Discord and everyone is gone in 4 games.

Do yall clans have the same problems?

I find this could become a problem because most of our players where paying players and overall good players 50%+winrate.

my clan has 75% of its members active on a daily basis.

but we are a 4 man clan with 3 guys who just platoon daily and the fourth guy is a friend that joined with a doggy computer so he can't get the game running for 99% of the time, technical issues hold us back to reach 100%.

in short I think our statistics don't really count as we started this clan with the intention on staying with 3 guys together after being in several clans together and not wanting to have obligations to others anymore and happily platoon.

There will always be attrition, that's why you need to make sure your clan has an active recruiter who is always on the lookout for new active members to add to the clan and keep numbers up.

Every clan will lose members over time.

Players can switch clans, stop playing the game for a while, or alltogether quit WoT. Its unavoidable that a clans active player numbers will dwindle over time. This means its important to keep recruting for your clan to keep a healthy playerbase. Recuiting is usually done on the clan section of these forums, but recruitment officers can also advertise your clan on other gaming forums, discord channels, or otherwise.

Unfortunately, a quick peek at your clan's recruiment officers reveals that two out of three dont even bother posting on these forums. The one recruitment officer that did, put up a lazily one-sentenced post about your clan in 2019 and cant be bothered to keep his topic updated. Your clan commander and officers should have been on top of this too, but its possible that they dont take their roles too serious... Fast forward to 2020 and you're sitting in a dying, empty clan.

Its highly unlikely that someone will step forward in your clan to pick up recruiting again as this person will probably be the only one pulling his weight among your clan's officers. Probably best to move on to a more active clan. Maybe you can talk about it with some of your still active clan buddies to make the move together?

Ahh, so thats what you were getting at. :)

I dont like ingame clan spam, so I never bothered with it. I usually recruited by advertising my clan on forums as these, reddit, tweakers.net and leaving a message on public discord channels (world of ships, tho). I felt that if I did it that way, I can put a more complete picture of what my clan was, what we do, and what we expect from our players. If I basically kept putting out content of my clan on these platforms, such as screenshots from clan activities, fun videos we were playing together, I could keep putting my clans name out there.

This game has clans?

Well well well. You learn something new every day.

I'll have to look into that someday I guess.

Next thing you know they'll be adding game modes other than Random battles.

Clans rise and fall apart from maybe the Dingers who just seem to power along in their own groove.

Robbie_T if your clan has died or is dying and the officers do nothing about it, then look at http://forum.worldof...ng-for-players/ and pick a new clan that suits what you want to do.

It is a rare day on which DRATT fails to have 100% of clan members on-line and in the game.

I attribute this to the rigorous and exclusive nature of the membership selection process
