Its gone.. No challenges left at this point in the game.

I unlocked the leo pta on wednesday and gonna get the t10 tomorrow.

Never used any booster or other things which i can activate manually.

The new "car" event or whatever you wanna call it made this possible.

Im just wondering whats the idea behind this, cuz grinding is gone.. there is no endgame anymore and the t10 games show us that even the worst players can get to t10 easily.

Whats next? New players are being welcomed with a t10 prem tank? i do know WG wont care about my worries but still,.. what if grinding would be grinding? Not getting it for free.

Learn to just enjoy playing tanks and level/grind crew xp.
I am sure there is still enough people considering current quick progression to much of a grind.
I think wg should stop pushing tier x as a goal to achieve and rather focus on mid tier events so people can just enjoy themselves.

Never liked grinding in WOT, having to play a tank I don't like, or squander XP points just to get to the next one.

Was quite unprepared for what I discovered in War Thunder:

you can play any tank you like to grind any tank you need within a nation.

I honestly feel spoiled there.

I am sure I will be playing WOT again occasionally,

but I will never again grind anything in WOT.

To be honest there is one thing mentioned competition did way better then wot/wg. That is the simple 1 account and you can join games in all areas.

The grind itself.. well for planes it was fun and i left it there this mixed gamemode is just not my cup of tea.

Grinding is not the most liked aspect. Nor the only goal or point of the game. I've unlocked every tank in the game. Still plenty to do. As you can argue that WOT doesn't have an end game as such, in the same way WOW does. There is no max cap, or end area everyone hangs out at. You don't get XP penalties for killing a level 1 boar here.

Grinding gives results of more tanks. Tanks you can now play an enjoy with no focus on XP or grinding. Some see MOE's as the 2nd challenge. Some buyback old tanks to improve, or just to see how they are now. As in finding new fun. I bought back the A-43 a few weeks ago. I had more fun going back to that, than I ever had grinding anything. As I play this game to have fun. And at times you gotta explore to find that fun. Now that the grind aspect is gone. I can focus on fun, and play what I want. Vs what I feel forced to get the tank I want.

... But that's just me.

Grinding was my motivation to play most days. I would try to obtain a x2/3/5 on every vehicle every day when possible and get that new module or next tank.

In time you get to the point where a tank took days, or even weeks to upgrade but we would all get there eventually.

Personally, I think that the various boosts came at the perfect time for me. I had wanted to stop grinding for a long time and the Festive period special was the beginning of the end for me. Between that, blueprints and a chunk of Free XP, I finished grinding every vehicle I owned and now all of my tech tree vehicles are Elite.

My crews are doing well also and with at least first skill/perk complete in every one, I don't feel the need to hammer crew development either.

My main reason for playing is simply mission objectives. I pretty much complete the three daily missions every day. I will usually complete the fourth unless time is limited and the reward is credits.

I'm grinding my way up the Battle Pass with a few VI and VII already maxed out.

I'm trying for PMs in both Campaigns and making reasonable progress and...

I'm trying for Tank Rewards but I'm not planning on grinding for the tanks themselves this month. I wouldn't say no to any one of them but I wouldn't bite your hand off to own one either. Last month was too stressful and I want a break from playing that much.

I must say that I'm glad I got the Krupp-Steyr WT last month, though. I'll maybe save my energy for the next TR.

I've always got something to aim for and the satisfaction of achieving my objectives usually outweighs the frustrations. Too much of the latter- as I have experienced over a couple of weeks- is more effective in reducing my playing than plenty of the former is in increasing it.

the only line i ground out to x was the old french lites via the amx 90 and lorraine 40t to bat chat. it was fun and didnt feel like a grind. most other trees i stopped at 7 because they just dont compete. now i just grind them every now and again. when the fun stops. stop.

Well ive got most of the tanks i want at this point.

all at least 5 skill crews in it and yet im not enjoying myself as i used to.

T10 is such a lottery at the moment with all the ebr's and arty's that its all but playable. And t10 should be the endgame.

I think WG has taken a wrong turn here.

What do you mean 'end game'.....in what way should it 'end'?

No, as in working towards t10 tanks and then start playing them.

Usually it took quite some time to get there. That part is just gone.

There's nothing stopping you from playing them after working towards them.

Play for DPG , or play for marks , or mastery aces. The game isn't only about unlocking all tanks.

Gun marks have been my prime motivation for a long time. I've only three-marked five tanks (none higher than tier 7), but it's the right level of challenge for me. Doing it without firing gold makes it even more satisfying (ok, I spammed gold on the last 5% of the Comet, but you would, wouldn't you).

It was always there to help push players to buy premium time. In what way was it better?
