This game need to balance premium shells. I personally believe that best nerf will be not changing alfa damage, but extending reloading time for them by +50%. How do you think?

no xD what a huge nerf to FV215b 183 and other tanks that dont have premium shells which buff the dmg

 

also a HUGE nerf to dpm tanks

 

until they fix mm so its +1/-1 only gold ammo is impossible to balance

so you want to give maus, e100, t5 heavy and others +50% hp?

 

nope, buddy, that wouldnt go well......

 

goldammo is almost fine as is, it might need some minor tweaking, i.e. 10% less damage, depending on vehicle, maybe worse spaced armour penetration and so on....

Yup thats what i do :) 

If serious answer needed - you should try going full skill ammo loadout, your performance will not get any better, then come here and cry about rigged mm.

they have never said anything about unfair advantage, even if a rebalance comes as tested before, nothing will change.

Some whine about it, sure, but the underlying complaints are legitimate. Premium ammo is just a cheap solution to poor tank balance. It's not getting any easier if WG just keep releasing new non-nerfable premium tanks when instead the existing field needs to be balanced to better understand what kind of premium tanks would be fair to add in such an ideal scenario.

Absolutely impossible to achieve, no make that unbelievably complicated to achieve.

Tanks would have different rates of fire depending on the ammo.

Tanks that do not actually require premium ammo would become much stronger and more popular.

 

Playing stock tanks to grind the xp needed to get a better more competitive gun much harder.

Autoloaders since the reload for the premium shells is increased by 50% that means the time to unload a clip goes up if you have premium loaded. So if normally I fire one shell every 2 seconds its 2 with some shells and 3 with others.the time to reload the entire clip increases by 50% too.

 

Autoreloaders very complicated as the time to reload each shell depends on whether you fire one and let it reload or fire the entire clip.

Of course all the premium tanks would have to be left completely alone or there would be outrage at change and there are an awful lot of premium tanks in the game.

 

Finally what on earth is the point in wasting all this time and effort when its just easier to increase hit points and increase the damage of standard shells.

My T30 carries 30 shells, so 30% of that is 10 shells. That's a potential 7500 damage just firing gold only.

 

How often do you do 7.5K a game enough to care about a limit?

Then it will be simple to implement then 

 

but having that block will put up a mental barrier in peoples mind that they dont want to waste them
