Hello ! I have big troubles choosing what medium tank line to go with. I want a playstyle of second line support. Preferably good gun depression and handling. I tried Leo 1 line but I really don't want to play VK 30.02 D and Indien Panzer. I have already played Russian mediums.

Play the VK3002D and Indien. VK3002D is playable, Indien too. Not super fun but they can work. Leo PTA is an absolute gem.

If not you can take a risk on ITA meds but they will be nerfed.

Fatton line is kinda ok, e50m is also decent and centurions are kinda meh.
Thats it for the "normal" tank lines, if you want gimmicks then  stb and/or udes is the line for you.

You could also go for the tvp if you want autoloaders, since they give national fragmets in the season pass so you can skip vtu

Can never go wrong with the Progetto line. They are so flexible.

You basically described the Leopard PTA and Leopard 1.

Leo PTA is worth it. I unlocked it via the scout line a while ago so I never played through the actual line, but I doubt it's bad enough to not get the Leo.

I'm playing through the Italians at the moment and enjoying every moment, even the lower tiers. The tier 4 P26 is now my sealclubber of choice.

Given your lack of experience, I suggest sticking with tiers 5 to 7 for a while longer. Tanks in tier 8 or higher are more specialised and need more experience to work out how to play them. Leo PTA for example is not an easy tank to play.

The Russian med line is good; I suggest getting more experience with T-34 and T-3485. I didn't get on with t-43 but others seem to like it.

Also Swedish line is good second line; t6 strv74 and t7 leo have nice guns and good gun depression.

I'm pretty bored with Russian meds by now, that's why I'm asking. Besides, the lack of gun depression is really getting to me :D Though, I definitely won't sell the 34-85. Right now, it's either Leo 1 or UDES line for me..

I think he's more interested in something he can grind now rather than a month later. :hiding:

I would suggest to play either Grille 15 or Strv 103B, they're TDs, yes, but they both have excellent guns and good mobility, and they are second line supporters. But for MTs? Leo 1 is what you're asking for, it's exactly what you described. :)

It's a real worthy T10, and if you like to play T9? thr Leo PTA is one of the BEST if not the best MTs in T9. So, you either play that, or either play UDES 15/16 (-13 gun depression) but it doesn't have the same gun handling as what Leo 1 have.

It's funny you say that, because I'm currently grinding the Grille 15 line and I absolutely love it so far. I'm on the Nashorn and it's simply amazing IMO. I liked it so much to the point where I fully kitted it out with bino, camo and rammer. The gun is simply so good with the accuracy and alpha. I'm strangely waiting for the St. Emil, just need to prepare for the ~54k XP painful stock grind ...

Leopard line is absolutely amazing for sniper support role. I've also been playing the Russian medium line since I really enjoyed T-54 back in the day, and seemed to enjoy it now as well, but after getting the Leo PT A I find it hard to get any interest in playing the T-54. Leo PT A is hard to learn and every mistake can be fatal, but if you get past that - it's an absolutely amazing experience. The gun handling is impressive, especially if you min-max it with crew, food, and equipment, and 8 degrees of gun depression is good for second line support, but too much exposure if working a ridge on the frontline. No armor, so arty is painful, but you can make it up with the decent mobility if you avoid arty-prone corridors.

How would you rate the actual grind to it? Just okay, nothing too painful?
