Dear Wargaming,

I'm not sure if you got the memo:- but we were able to get this tank during last months tankrewards, do you actually believe that you can get good sales with this tank right now, right after tankrewards? Either way, nice that you are not selling extremely OP tanks right now, but just recommend to create the sales-calendar with a little more logic. :)

,Cheers

Well, you know, it’s time to wait shell’s rebalance... If damage for usual shells will be increased, eventually tanks with low penetration (with usual shells) - become just garbage...:(
Just for instance - Firefly - 171mm, Thunderbolt - 124mm;)

While some of the commenters seem to be saying: spare me my life from this monstrosity. ’m only here to congratulate WG on the awesome title.

It's not frightening. T-34-85M with it's insane damage, pen and DPM is frightening in it's tier, and I won't even mention what AT-15A does even to T8s...

This. The Thunderbolt is decent at best. If you want 'frightening', get yourself a T-34-85M. Wargaming buffed it when there was absolutely no need to do so, it being Russian and all, and now it completely dominates Tier VI. Yet another shining example of money > game balance.

Really nice tank, in theory.

What WG conveniently forgets to say is that it will meet tier 8 premiums with 500+ alpha damage that will swat it like a fly.

This is just credit cash cow to be milked by the likes of Skorpion G, SU-130PM, AMX Cda 105, Defender, 50TP etc.

Hell, even the IS-2 and IS-2S will have fun with it.

It did need a buff. I had it prior to it, and it was pure garbage. When WG changed it it started to rule T6, but it was a rare sight since at that point it was a collector's gem vehicle, so it didn't swarm T6. Then WG gave it away for free in a mini event and created a situation where everyone has it...

I have had a few decent games in it, but the Firefly VC is better in my opinion. Higher penetration etc
