It seems to be happening more and more, and wot need to do something about it, they come out at the start of a game with comments  like this game is lost or team of tomatoes and do not even bother starting, these people have got to be banned, if wot can ban people for what they say then surely they can ban them for letting a team start with a tank down, and i am not talking about people who are late starting because of connection problems, just the cry babies who do not like the team they are in.

From my experience this happens very rarely, can't say i had someone suiciding on start cause of xvm in the last 500 games, if not more.

And i use anonymizer so my stats don't show making the team look even worse.

Shooting yourself in the foot is a cheat now?

These idiots would find any reason to ram themselves headfirst into a wall and blame others.

I can't personally remember the last time I've seen someone actually cry out about stats at the start and proceed to drown themselves, though I did have an FV215b (183) the other day who stopped playing because we were 3-5 A few minutes into the game, but that wasn't exactly stat-based. Kind of a laugh really, considering that's not really that bad and we actually ended up winning that game, but hey, he sure contributed right?

Besides, even if XVM Was removed, people would still whine about about too much of tank, or the match-up they're in, how the match is going and so on. Hell I've literally seen an Obj. 703 II In a top tier match-up vs. Tier VIs sit at J0 On Pilsen and drown himself because he wasn't hitting anything that was outside of his render range. He literally removed his top tier heavy from the game, not based on stats or anything, but because he couldn't snipe at tanks, outside of render, in a tank that isn't well suited to sniping.

Since I've activated the anonymizer for some reason comments from these idiots have almost completely disappeared for me. I can only assume that by blocking XVM from my stats the XVM win % algorithm is disabled

Indeed xvm is the least problem. i enjoyed mm way more before they made it a mirror match thing. But hey people have been crying rivers for one side having more heavies while the other has tds.... completely missing out that this creates interesting/challenging scenarios to adapt too.

i remember people deserting/suiciding with "gg enemy has more heavies" on a city map. Even so always nice to win those games seeing the suicider/deserter with 0 damage hoping it was his daily double/triple..

If I'm correct the anonymized names are counted as 0% by the win chance, leading to the hilarious situation where I end up in a 3-man platoon (which I rarely do actually, if I platoon it's usually only 2 people) where all but me are anonymized but great players, and some bob begins to cry in chat over how bad our team is and may or may not suicide or sulk in the corner and then we win comfortably.

So win chance is completely irrelevant now (and I did some data gathering in 2015 that showed that even then in practice 5% win chance was still 30 in reality, and 95 was more like 70 in reality - because people make mistakes and don't always end up on their most comfortable map/vehicle combination).

To be fair, I personally enjoy mirrored MM, though it does have a bit of a catch when you get something like a 50 120 Matched up against a Mauschen or Type 4 Heavy, or something like a Squonk vs. Maus on a map more suited to hulldown. You also get a few silly things like MM Putting 2 Tier IX Heavies + 1 Tier X vs. 2 Tier Xs + 1 IX Because that's all it could immediately pull from the queue.

And i bet that the majority would expect the amx 50 120 to go heavy lane and brawl with types and mausschen. cause they are classed as heavies and therefor have to do xy.

"gg our heavies are noobs" before suiciding.

Sometimes playing this game and reading chat creates a wish for a big asteroid to end the pain.

If I'd had 14 others like you in my team, I too would reconsider if it's worth the effort to carry.

14 like him and 15 on the enemy team marginally better is Pools medal territory.

For those epic games you basically need 29 players bad at the game but good at not dying very quickly.

...and that's why people need to turn on the Anonymizer, so that it messes up with XVM.

That implies both teams being bad.

Knowing how WG's version of the MM works, at least according to the forums, the enemy teams is always infinitely better.

The red team is always more competent, hits more often, rolls higher, deals more module damage.

That is why pros use colorblind mode, best cheat ingame.

Oh absolutely. It's both hilarious and depressing how often people think must do y, with absolutely no tolerance for something different. Mind you, the same kind of players typically who want the one-shot Heavy to go barrelling forward into a camouflaged TD, while the TD Behind him on full health will "support" while sitting outside of render range. :teethhappy:

Do you think XVM is the cause of most of those? As most that whine about it I see are anonymized. Meaning their XMV is blocked. But even if they blocked it fully. It's still more down to if they are on a bad loss streak or not atm. As in frustrated as is, and start the match with "next loser team?" or "next 15-3". And then instantly hides in the corner and cries about it if they don't like what they see on the map. Even if WG ban everyone doing it. It's not like you won't get a new one the next day, is it? Bad streaks happen to everyone, so someone will always be triggered on your team.

Not an issue.

I see far more throw games because they don't like the MM, they aren't top tier, enemy has x tank, they don't don't like the map, they don't like this side of the map, it's raining, its a Tuesday, etc...

another one who fell for the trap to mistake XVM for ingame stats.

PS: or someone who saw his own team being deep red, camping the base just amplifying the handicap.

Though I think WG should start to ban players who play very bad or who are afk or who suicide at start.
