RNG at its best probably? Red marker armory indicator for the enemy artylery. Well.....yes indeed I bounced that shot. (see the attached photo)

The only real reason this happened, which I am explaining to myself is: He was outside the red line....is something similar ever happened to anyone?

You hit the gun/breech and the shot was absorbed.

I am talking about the red marker (no chance for penetration) in the middle of the artillery (the whole side of it).  The gun has nothing to do with it...

That's the gun breach, bounced it 4 times yesterday in a Bret. Panther.

He then drowned.

Come on...you all do remember the broken 3d model of USA artillery: M53/M55

I ricochet'd on a GW E 100's side as he traversed yesterday.

Hilarous and depressing. But it happens.

Entire side is just a massive module with guns and tracks more so then armor. There are a few areas there over the tracks that can absorb some shots from +2 guns even if you will vs bouncing it. As red is just for your chance to pen what's in the way. Inc modules or spaced armor. It's not just an indication of armor thickness alone. And if you aim at modules, even tracks or as said above... the gun. It can shift to red depending on shell type. Even if you will overmatch the armor behind it.

No armour is best armour.

Arty is best.

Dunno about that, it happened a lot when I played arty.

Any bob can angle a tank with armour,

but angling arty requires supreme skill.

Looks like you met one of those supremely skilled arty players.

You should consider yourself honoured and humbled.
