What happened to this class? Been away for about a year an a half and i see so little heavy's ingame.

On rare occasions there are 4 or 5 per team, maar usually only 2 or 3.

Brawling has become a thing of the past it seems. Aint it time for some love for this forgotten class?

Gold spam has made many of them redundant. Getting clicked is as annoying than ever. Clan reward tanks are OP and you see so many of them now you know there's a good chance you'll meet a Chieftain, so what's the point in playing your E100. Lower tiers, less of a problem, but the balance at tier X is a joke.

How many do you think there should be? There are five classes in the game, and even if we combine arty and lights into a single support class there should be 3-4 vehicles per class per game on average.

And yeah, balancing at T10 is pretty screwed up, thanks to 279, Chieftain and EBRs.

Most should include heavies and meds. All others are special classes

Yea there are 5 classes. But ingame you get the feeling there are only 4.

The game pace got faster, broken bushwanker locations allow no advance anyways and open maps ensure you are just a target decoy for arty.

So players naturally stop playing the class and rather play td, sit in bushes and watch grass grow.

Whats left of heavy tank gameplay is pointless anyways. the brawl areas are either mexican standoffs with either side sitting hulldown/sidescraped in locations waiting for the enemy to come at them, or the area just gets rolled over by a lemmingtrain. neither results in a great gaming experience, as the game is very often decided elsewhere.

Heavies are still fine at lower tiers

Basically games pay to win, gold ammo is pretty much standard ammo now and guess which class is effected the most, there's still a few heavies that work but for the most part armor other than the amount to stop overmatch and frontal turret is worthless.

Open maps, a few new autoloaders with ridiculous pen, WV's that keep you spotted, and the not-so-fun grind to the good Polish heavies. They are still very usable in Frontline or t8 team battles, in particular.
