This game is much better when you're slightly under the influence and don't care

Why stop at "slightly"?
The consumption of recreational drugs always helps to cope with having to witness/endure the ineptness of others.

I would not know,

I have never been inebriated in my life,

because Mother does not approve of that kind of thing.

Booze and drugs make gameplay more fun and encourages taking gambles/risky plays. If it works out, awesome, if it does not, you don't mind as much.

It wouldn't be the first time I read that people play better in abnormal circumstances.

Some people claim they play better when they don't wear clothes... don't ask me why... :hiding:

I think the game would be much better if you had an IQ of 20 or below, to fit in the large vast majority of the playerbase, so you just don't know or care what is going on and play like a redline E100.

There is a saying from one Serbian actor...

"When you die, you don't know that you died and it's not hard for you. It's hard for the others. It's the exact same when you're stupid."

Perfect fit for this playerbase.

No thing to brag about, but i havent played WoT fully sober for over 2 years. I almost quit playing for good couple years back, but then i decided to try new approach.

- Have few beers. maybe a bit of whisky

- Only play tanks and tiers you really like to play

- Dont give a damn about stats, but still always try your best to help the team to win

- Sometimes try new places and tactics with your familiar tank to go, even if it might not always go very well.

I only play every now and then, but experience is much better and raging to yourself and to others has taken a drastic step down.

I know why - it's to give oneself more pleasure upon doing a good play or carrying a team.

Some claim they take more pleasure riding a bicycle without a saddle/seat.

Whatever works i guess.

A few years ago a man was convicted for being "intimate" with his bicycle in a hotel room

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1569272/Man-who-had-sex-with-bicycle-sentenced.html

It is also well known that as a result of the atomic theory there are many people out there who are half man and half bicycle:

Personally, I have never played WoT sober and it would never even cross my mind to do so

I feel I am having more fun in a way. My team might not feel the same though as I might be completely useless. Also I am salty as F.

Also cannot play for long periods of time that way.

There is a certain Russsian term for this type of playing style that WoT is based on.
I can't name the term as last time I used this term as a descrition for the gameplay style and experience it cost me a month of forum ban.
But yes you are right.

Tbh, you don't need to be drunk for the "I don't care" part. Steve does it all day.

Intoxicated teammates make the game worse for those who aren't under the influence.

Overall, it makes the game worse.

There you go, you are wrong.

When I first returned to this game, I used to think the same.

Until I took a shell of competitiveness  in the knee.

No, it just proves that sober players are the reason they don't enjoy the game. :medal::trollface:
