Right now, it is annoying waiting for the blueprints you want to use, because depending on RNG, you might just not get them. I've had the american tree completed for ages now, and I am sitting on 90 american blueprint fragments that I simply cannot use.

As we can expect new american tech tree tanks around the time of the last judgement, can we have some mechanism for trading in those we don't want/need for those we do want? Maybe something like 3:1, or maybe 4:1 if you are feeling greedy.

Maybe not directly exchange blueprint fragments for specific vehicle blueprint fragments (might be nice to trade those of trees you don't want to play for random new ones), but mostly, I'd like to trade in my american and soviet ones for some for nations I am levelling to lessen the grind on some of the more annoying vehicles.

No we need to remove them altogether.

What about all the country blueprints you get awarded through chrimbo specials and progression specials? I've got country blueprints coming out of my derierre, if anything I'm short on generics.

They have said there are changes coming to it. Either in ways of trading or allowing to pick vs getting it at random. When? Well, let's be honest. It's low on the priority list of issues they need fixing on, even for the UI team.

Same.

I covet Universal BP's

I'd rather exchange them for some credits i.e. sell them at ~5k a piece for the national blueprints and 1k for the universal ones.

JUST LET them exchange for universals or for credits,......but thats too much for a challenge for an army of 500 developers team sitting at the WG headfquarters I guess,.....

Will it make WG more money? No? Then forget about it.

I support this idea in generał but i'd do it different way: put an auction platform in the game for players, let them sell and buy blueprints they want and need. Also simple supply and demand rule will allign the pricing.

I see some more options for such trade platform to be used for, but too early to speak about it.

Exchanging blueprints for credits or bonds or whatever would be a better option I think

Why ? It's nice to skip the tiers 8 you don't want to play, like tvp-tvu ot t-69.

also its a good way to not give WG money. as Blueprints are free.

the other option is to give WG €/$/£/¥ to get Gold then exchange that for Free XP and it runs the same business as Blueprints we have.

How about making it so you can change a national BP to a universal BP at a cost of say 10 gold? Seems a reasonable idea that would also make WG a modicum of extra money.

Let me sell them, be it for bonds, credits or even demount kits. Just let me use them.

Same with personal reserves. Still sitting on like 1800+ even though I use like 3 every day.

Basically because these things are one of the "many" reasons the game is in such a  sorry state at the moment, you shouldn;t have to skip anything, how do you learn if you just skip stuff you don't like. It's one of the many way the company has created to get people into high tier tanks quicker basically because someone has told them this will generate more money for them. Regardless of the damage it does to the game. Boosters/Blueprints event after event just to keep the idiots happy. When I started it took months to get into a tier 10 tank, you have to play a tank for 200 battles before you could go to the next one, these days you can do it in days if not weeks. How does anyone learn how to play if all their are concerned about is "getting the next tank".

Why do you thing you see so many threads about bots/new players in tier 10 games with only 2k battles to their name.

I do think they were a bad decision and I was worried it would turn into a method to pay to progress.  It hasn't as yet.

They won't be removed but we have already seen a reduction in the numbers given out so I think that's the way it will go, more a quiet phasing out than an instant removal.

There are so many people who jump from t7 to t10..or i think they do.. They skip an important part of learning how to play high tier games.

So thats why.

yes the correct word is ''have to skip'' but players that dont want to play the particular tank will skip it, and the option has been there from the start.

also getting your hands on blueprints from events like battle pass kinda needs to be past tier 5, and to be honest you dont learn much on how to play the game in those tiers.

sure you can get the feel for how to lead shots, use bushes, angle armour, but those are the basic stuff that apply's to all tiers. but the hardest part of the game comes when you need to adapt to the tier for tier gameplay.

something even i havent been able to do with light tanks.

look at that i have 130 games in Vae Type B and amazing 62% winrate. i'm a good light tank player since i stayed in lower tiers and learned how to play, right?

wrong, move up a few tiers and you start seeing that i dont know how to play a light tank at all.

staying in lower tiers isnt going to help me get good at it.

i need to play them in tiers where i dont know how to do it so i can learn from my mistakes that is to say tier 6 and up.

at tiers 1-5 (and a few tier 6 and 7 tanks) i know how to Light tank, as in spot for the team and get assistance and have some level of impact on the game but not when i move up the tiers.

its a whole different game out there.

so if you really want to these 2k bots to get good at higher tiers you need to let them play higher tiers. forcing them to play something like the Matilda for 200 games is not going to teach them how to play the Caernarvon or Conqueror and how to have a impact in the flow of the game. yes they can learn the basic stuff in lower tiers but higher tiers demand advanced skills and you only learn those skill in higer tiers.
