Wargaming,

Instead of making players and customers work for or pay for demounting equipment, you should just demount it all automatically and for free, when equipment 2.0 arrives.

With these dramatic changes to the old system noone should be punished for having a large amount of tanks and equipment.

It would cost you nothing, but many players have upwards of 100 tanks and who knows what equipment combination will suit all of those after the update goes live.

The changes as a whole seem unnecessary, but what's really unnecessary is that you make changes to equipment and we all have pay or play to unmount or re-equip.

speechless

dont know what to say

90% of all players don't do WOT homepage for news or go onto Sandbox

so on results from 10% (maybe) 15% or so of total WOT player base ~ your going ahead with this

good to see WG have 100% of ALL the player comfort and concerns in mind here ...

only actual real good news for WOT in 2020 i see is the deleted Pearl River Map returning soon

Cool. Now we only have to wait ten more years for Crew 2.0 and another ten for ammo rework.

Equipment for Tier 8 should not cost 500/600k. It's very shitty to have to pay 1,8 mil on top of the 3.5mil tank you just bought. Reduce the damn equipment prices, or you'll just give new players one more thing to be clubbed to death for.

Yes, even the ones with premium accounts/tanks.

I'm not sure what you want them to do, it is announced in the launcher and I even had a popup in game about it.  Short of redirecting everyone's game and forcing you to install and run the sandbox I don't really see how they can get more people involved.

Not happy with the "no more than 30 demount kits per account, regardless of how many hundreds of tier 6-10 tanks you have in your garage, ha-ha-ha" thing.

Block Quote

all players will receive a number of Demount Kits equivalent to the number of Tier VI–X vehicles in their Garage, but no more than 30 Demount Kits per account

I dont understand why the arbitrary limit of 30 kits, it doesnt cost you anything. I have 309 tanks, over 70% of them with 3 pieces of equipment mounted.

Why even waste your time with demounting kits when you could just offer the option to auto-demount everything to depot on update launch.

Improved Aiming Unit getting nerfed... one of the equipment that actually had potential gets nerfed to 5%, why would I want to pick that over vents now? God forbid if guns might actually be accurate in this game and not miss fully aimed shots.
Bond Equipment still planned to be even further buffed which is not really a good idea because they're good enough as they are, don't require a special slot to have a bonus over regular equipment, and also devalues Bounty equipment that people bought which means that they are gonna feel scammed, especially since WG themselves mentioned that bounty equip. can reach Bond level. (plus you have to pay the price of a tier IX for that upgrade....)

I think that the equipment rework is not ready yet for 1.10...

We do not just go ahead with things. These changes are being thoroughly tested, with lots of iteration and feedback gathering, to make sure that they fit the game, bringing novelties without breaking anything. If further actions will be needed to adjust the equipment and tweak the mechanics after it will all be implemented, we will surely work in that direction, once gained the necessary data.

We could take long time testing radical changes and make sure they work properly, or we could just release them in five minutes without testing anything or asking for player opinion. Are you sure you prefer the latter? :)

WG, think first, before alienating most of Your player base.

because

a player = possible cash cow ready to be milked = Moooooh :)

an angry player = no-cash bull with horns = Baaad :(

Because vents only give 2.5% :)

Well what I heard from players testing these new wonder thingies...they mention it is utterly brokheeen.

You do even ask players for opinion and they don't want it....so releasing it is even worse than the latter option you mentioned... ;)

So you changed the tech tree as it was 'too Complicated' and then you come up with overly complex pile of horse plop.

Why only 30 demount kits? (Because we want to milk the older players harder...)

Why the commanders vision system? I'm sure the new players who have rushed to higher tiers will fully understand why they are being shredded by unseen vehicles.......

Absolute load of Tosh WG.

I just wish there would be less scrutiny in dev process at WG. But, what can we do, haters gonna hate - corporations gonna corporate.

According to me and my personal experiences, in case a new change/update has been forced on a community the less issue should be given with it. Actually players used to have hundreds of tanks, what means they could use hundreds or even thousands of demounting kits/gold.

Why would it make sense to make an unwelcomed change even harder for them by limiting the possibility of free demounting kits when you would be easily able to solve this issue with a simple click?

Even I have tanks under 100 I already feel the struggle to go over on all of them one by one and calculate, replace just because an upcoming change what wouldn't be necessary by any means.

I can understand that microtransactions+rpg elements are they way to go but the behavior behind giving hard time to players by these "updates" are quite pointless and questionable.

Simply do the hard work, click one, demount all equipment, compensate players with free demounting kits/silver. You will lose nothing but you might keep players who would pay money to you in the future just by showing basic respect and kindness to them.
