I came back to this game in April and saw the new tech trees, Polish Czeck, Italian, Swedish and Japanese heavy branch. Got to tier X in Polish, Italian and Czeck. Kept falling asleep moving the Japanese heavies out of base so gave up at the tier 8 unlock. I'm going to resurrect the Japanese medium as I have had the Type 61 unlocked for some years and the STB 1 looks real good.

I've unlocked the Udes and Emil line from the Leo. My question is to people who have done both branches, which one do you recommend? I don't mind heavies or mediums and I don't mind campy play or brawling. So, which line was the most fun?

Also, is the M48 Patton any good?

I only have 2 grinders on the go at 1 time!

See the wiki for info on the M48 Patton. TD line imho is better unless you don't like sitting still, although it really starts to shine at high tier.

I enjoyed the UDES line. Quite punchy guns, small turrets that are hard to hit for the enemy.
Meanwhile I found the Kranvagn line to be a boring one trick pony line.

Bad accuracy forces you to play hulldown at close range.

But having an autoloader forces you to not be in the frontline, or else you might get rushed when on reload.

The tank contradicts itself in that way, and on top of that, the turrets are big, and you're pretty much guaranteed to get in a crossfire, and people will just pen the side of your turret without a problem.

patton is a good tank.
I would do 1 line at a time, because i made a mistake if going down on pretty much every tank line possible, so it took years to research all of them and now i dont really have much to do, only jap heavies, china tds and 2 china lts, im really not intetested into researching any of them atm. If you wonder about swe tech tree go for emil 2 first.

I've started the Udes line so thanks guys. Love it so far, effective even when stock. Very stealthy which helps. Also loving the Type 61, even when stock, must be a beast when fully upgraded. Thanks for all your input.

Also, regarding Udes or Emil, I took 80% off an Emil 1 in my first game and killed him but took a full clip from him. So Udes definitely wins!
