Hi all,

Game is taking forever to load in the garage, lasts about 30 seconds and then kicks me out saying connection has been interrupted. Tried both servers and neither worked. Speed test shows internet my end is fine. Anyone else having a similar problem, or is there scheduled maintenance that I am unaware of?

If not looks like a fresh install..

Every day, all day, I get the same issue. It feels like the UI gets clunkier, slower and worse with every "hotfix" and "update".

Happens in game also, getting kicked after DC-ing for 30 or so seconds.

Been working fine for past hour or so.

You Internet might seem fine, but remember that speed test is only to your ISP or a nearby server, it does not test the whole route to WoT severs.

Speedtest is completely useless for testing your connection to the WG servers.  It's not even much use for testing your internet speed since it was taken over by an ISP.

Download pingplotter

if you use EU1 point it at login.p1.worldoftanks.eu

if you use EU2 point it at login.p2.worldoftanks.eu

Let it run while you play a few battles.

Save the trace as an image and post it up here.

Try using Google's DNS servers instead of your ISP.  Or do as I already said.

I think I may have explained my situation slightly wrong. The game takes far far longer to load up than usual (about twice the time) and when I fianlly get to the garage it wont let me click on anything than kicks me out saying there has been a connection error. Can't exactly test the connection during a battle when I can't get in one. Opted for a fresh install so I'll see if that fixes it

Well hope you managed to sort it out and the only time I had similar issues was around the release of v1.0 when defragging the HDD was a temporary fix. My HDD then decided to force the issue by dying on me.

If you were on EU2 then yes the server did fail.

You could do the test without the playing a few rounds part, I couldn't be bothered editing my copy paste instructions.

I'm not sure where the logic comes from to do a total reinstall rather than run the check/repair option from WGC either, it's a bit like knocking your house down to fix a dripping tap.

But usual advice - run Game in safe mode from launcher, run check/repair from launcher, test your connection with pingplotter.

Fresh install worked! I knew there was over stuff to do, but I had jobs to do and a fresh install doesnt hurt! Thread can be closed if thats something that still happens here

As mentioned above, I'm adding some screens made just a seconds after the permanent-lags.

Any suggestions?

Time of "lag" placed in file name.
