There is no more a best equipment. All depends on the tank you're trying to equip.

I watched video by dez gamers about this new equipment to help for reducing bloom,

because I used to have laying drive but players told me its useless due to stablzier always being better

The Improved Aiming Unit will be the new Gun Rammer.

Accuracy is everything. For me at least.

Cyclone Filters will surely be the equipment of choice on most tanks

And spall liner on light tanks.

I think the improved rotation mechanism is better than GLD. Improve gun handling while increasing also hull and turret traverse.

And spall liner on light tanks.

Unless they change how spall liners work, no, not really.

Along with a global HE rework.

Because currently, even if a spall liner for light tanks gave us +90% effective armour against HE shells, it'd still be pointless for a lot of light tanks.

Lets say I'm driving around in my LT-100 and an arta is aiming for me, it is lucky and scores a direct hit against me.

Due to SPG shell arc, it is likely to hit my tank's roof somewhere, which is 12mm, 16mm or 26mm raw.

Lets say the arta in question is the FV207 using the 139.7mm gun, which has 35mm penetration.

It penetrates me for full damage, because Spall Liners don't offer any protection against penetrating HE hits.

The additional effective armour only works against near-hits and non-penetrating HE hits (and ramming).

Someone missed the point.

One could say so did you.

I mean, he throws you a piece of equipment that will get suppressed and you responded with one that will remain...tsk tsk tsk.

If you watch certain streamers they explain that GLD are useless for all tanks.

Improved aiming unit is a good one for autoloaders with bad gun handling and also on tank destroyers. So for example like Lorraine 40t might be even playable with Improved aiming unit, stabilizer and vents.

So both remain equally useful then
