He he. The tech tree tank has better armor. T34-85m exist with armor and good DPM. And last month tank reward you had the chance to get the  Sherman VC Firefly  177mm of AP pen

You never have to load gold in that thing with the same effective armor and speed.

You even had the chance to grind for Bertane Panther not that long ago for FREE. It is just a french crew trainer. But since only French thing WG care for it wheelies then why care about that feature even? Do not spend money on this when there is much better thanks that will be the only purchase you need in this game. Like a OP Defender or some stuff. Do not spend it on crap like this. Get a real credit maker and be done with it.

I must say I like mine, not invulnerable but rather effective and fun.

I love the comments, at every premium tank sales "It's crap because it can't pen two  tierhigher heavy tanks at max range" or "It's crap because it gets pen by the highest pen guns around", lol.

A solid and dependable workhorse at tier 6. Mobility, view range and gun handling are all good. Armor is also useable if you know how to angle the front. I have most of the tier 6 premium tanks, and together with the Thunderbolt and Pudel this is in my top 3 favourites.

I play tier 6 a lot lately, as it isn't as frustrating as tier 8 and up, and games are a bit faster. Definately worth getting if you're looking for something fun to play, and in my opinion one of the best mediums at tier 6. Yes the T34-85M might be better on paper, but I prefer the pew pew pew gun on this tank more than the higher alpha of the T34-85M. Also it has better view range, so it isn't outspotted as easily either.

I have it from Christmas loot boxes... didn’t play even a battle, no reason because have a lotta tiers 6 much better and funnier... premium and not premium. Actually, premium tank for me - tank you can earn credits, mostly tier8, but tier6 what for? Crew training? We got nowadays crew books, crew reserves and a lot of specials...
So, for collectors- must have ( cuz it’s like real tank you know, not that paper crap), but for anyone else - nope.
Regards;)

To be even more accurate:

Pudel pros:

  • +2 shells for the maximum ammorack loadout.
  • Power/Weight is better because the tank itself is lighter (15.82, +0.44)
  • Front armor +5mm, Side armor +10mm (only the upper sidearmor. Lower sidearmor (behind the tracks) still 40mm)
  • Overall camo (stationary, on the move, after fired in the two situations, etc) is slightly better (+ between 0.08-0.45)
  • The turret top behind the gun mantlet is way stronger (45mm instead of 16mm) - this means the whole Bret. Panther turret top is overmatchable
  • The upper armor plate next to the upper front plate got an 30mm part (The Bret. Panther has only a big 16mm chunk), which can autobounce everything up to 90mm rounds.
  • The turret armor behind the gun mantlet is 100mm, but on the front-end of the turret sides got a little 100mm thick stripe. Its not much, but its a + for the Pudel. Same goes for the upper front plate sides.

Bret. Panther pros:

  • Got 5mm + skirt armor at the tracks, so it can absorb a bit of HE dmg and some HEAT shells. Not sure if that protects you from AP/APCR overmatch mechanisms tho..
  • The upper part of the bottom armor (next to the lower plate) is 30mm (Pudel has "only" 25mm), so it gives you a little more protection against HE shells which is shoot right under your tank, but this "extra protection" is not that much.
  • Lower plate is 60mm (Pudel has only 50mm)

Please can we get Bretagne Panther R  or Pudel R?

R- stands for recaptured

We need at least  playable German tier VI medium premium.

Imo indeed a reliable workhorse. And its a very nice representation of an actually still operational Panther, just like Tiger 131 is for the bigger cat. If you're a fan of the German big cats this is a nice one. In the French tech tree i see little use in terms of crew training though.

To be fair, most observations made are accurate. There isn't much hate being thrown at this premium as it's pretty good for the price.

I think this is actually a good example of a what a premium tank should be. Its pretty much a VK 3002M, instead of another example of paying for a premium tank thats flat out better than the one's you can get for free. Pay to progress, not pay to win.

Love my B.Panther. Mobile enough, solid gun characteristics and just enough armour to pull off a few bounces when you need them most.

Certainly worth picking up :coin:

I got this one for free, I don't remember how nor when, but it's a pretty fun tank IMHO.
I like it.
The tech tree version is better, but I don't have a spare German crew, si I'm playing this one instead.
It's historical, the camo is actually pretty and unique, it's not bad, it sometimes makes some credit, so overall I like it.
(I don't know if I would have paid it 15 euros though to be honest...)
