Why can't I see my team mate?

Why can't I see my team mate in the GW Tiger on the battle screen? (Note: this is from a replay).

Why can't I see my team mate?

 

I know why I cant see mine, the bloody lockdown! I was supposed to fo for an eye test in April! :(

It's a screeshot from the replay, not actual gameplay, right?

When you are in satellite view, even allied SPGs go stealth in replays unless they'll shoot.

Um, not quite.

 

While in satellite view the game renders the tanks from the point where your SPG is currently aiming at and still has the 567m render limit (or whatever distance that is)

So when you switch in a replay to the free view mode and leave the satellite view it doesn't magically break the games render distances.

 

Definitely not a bug.
