Unlike Frontlines you can neither grind credits nor XP and that pretty much says it all

8 minutes of deadzone surfing avoiding all the other tanks while you hunt coloured smoke and then 2 mins of fighting to finish up.

Fun and engaging gameplay. What's not to like?

you can avoid them, but even better to kill and loot them by increasing your rank. That makes you much stronger for late game

How's the scoring work in this mode? I am really only interested in the expedition tokens...

I played about 4 or 5 games last year. The best one I had was when I finished second by employing a very simple tactic - avoid opponents for as long as possible. Ignore goodie drops, just hide. The last super dude will most likely kill you, but finishing second ensures your progression up the ladder. When I tried going for the drops and upgrades, brawling - that did not work at all, I ended up being killed no matter how hard I tried: your usual WOT battle skills do not seem to apply here. So I lost interest, too cartoony for me, no feeling of real tanks.

If you used the survival tactic last season you almost always ended up in top 5, where if you played the aggressive on you were likely to end in bottom 5.

Basically if you get into a fight you will end up "luring" other tanks to your area, which isn't a healthy thing.

I would however like to point out that getting supplies while using survival tactics was the key to doing well, although not winning.

Yes because, at least I can't have [edted] 70 battles and lose 40 of them.

And I think the BR mode for WoT has worked out great.

I don't like FFA like game modes. Although randoms sometimes feel like 1v29

did the same last year. I am just not very good in 1 vs 1 brawls, so went and did the hide and run tactics on Steelhunter. Nerfwrecking at times but it was so much fun.

There is no motivation.

The mode doesnt reward credits and I already for Futur 4 which is all I wanted. It's pretty damn fun btw.

I played it on test server. This time, it seems like dealing DMG gives much more XP than last time, while collecting supplies isn't as rewarding anymore. At least it seems so

I enjoyed frontlines, I'd like more of that. Not looking forward to this if it's as some people describe here :(
