And yet I love Frontline and would like to play it whenever I want.

Do you think Wargaming should care?

Do you think Wargaming should accommodate?

Not from your personal point of view, but from their business viewpoint.

Are players disillusioned with "random" trash are lost cause or should more (often) be done to entice them to play other modes? In my case, if Frontline was constantly available, I would be motivated to look at new tier 8 premium tanks. Right now I have zero motivation, hence WG get zero money from me.

Frontline should be available everyday during prime time.

Frontline is great mode, however it needs more maps so we aren't getting bored of those 2.

I think that if Frontline were available all the time ennui would set in. I far prefer that pub 15x15 and grand battle 45x45 are always available, and then they are spiced up with occasional special modes such as Frontlines, brawl etc. I still enjoy random pubs and do not consider them a lost cause. Obviously these are subjective personal views. Each to their own.

Qp, you've already moved on. Only your forum presence lags behind a little.

nah, frontline was ruined by EBRs capping everything way too quickly. The only time it was fun was the very first frontlines in 2018.

frontline isn't Steel Hunter and Steel Hunter is what needs to be permanent.

how dare you dislike something that I like?

front line needs to be available with all tries. Limit  Tier 10 EBRs  to one per team to stop the salty tears if needed.

and put in recap bases for the defenders at tier 10 and we have a winning formula.

There are lots of things that WG could do to spice up different modes.

Frontlines could be played at different tiers (tier 10, tier 6), even mixed tiers.

Same with Grand battles and ranked.

With just two maps, Frontlines has become a tedious chore and I'm glad it's over.

I would like to see frontline always on.
Also more different tiers. Would be fun.

What a weird attitude. No one is forcing you to play it.

I agree, Front line was boring and tediously repetitive, so I didn't bother playing it for more than a few games in the first and and a couple of games in the second rounds

I know many love the mode. But personally the way it is now, as in the way it has been for 2 years with the one map and one tier for the majority of the time. And the new map that is only fun as the attacker. It gets old fast to me long-term fun for me. The last 2 stages I never played more once I got past max rank.

Tbh if It was to be a permanent mode. I would wish for WG to add more tiers to it. Still +0 MM, but even tossing in tier 7 and 9 to spice it up a bit outside of the main event dates that could still be tier 8. Or even add more maps. As 2, with getting one 90% of the time "usually the worst one" might get more to play it if t was added permanently. They had tier X in the first test videos of the mode. But seeing how tier X balance is atm. I don't see that working too well tbh.

Tho... iirc, it's still not done by WG. But the 3rd party German studio that made GB too. Who knows if there is a Desert map on the way etc.

Block Quote

I will never play a 15v15 (aka 15-3) "random" match in WOT again

The games with the outcome of 15:3 in 5 minutes could be a kind of user boycott.
Even if you play arty exclusively (boycott) you get a bad taste in your mouth.

In my opinion, Wargaming have killed World of Tanks with the wheeled vehicles.
My wallet will be closed as long the EBR 75 FL is driving around.

Their business viewpoint?
For sure, they ran it well so far. Hundreds of millions earned, buffering losses in the future.
WG should ask now for how long this will go well.

There is only one mode missing in WoT: Domination.
I was expecting this together with the new map of Berlin.

> tier 8 premium tanks
> Frontline constantly available

One could derive a suggestion out of this.
I would also add Tier 7 premium tanks.

Frontline is the only way to explore the techtree and grind a crew without ruining the stats, for a casual player.

It appears to be illogical to me that a player don't know before, if he is defender or attacker.
The role of defender or attacker are very unbalanced and need to be thought over.

I know I am going to contradict myself but the EBR75FL are a minor problem in bigger maps like Fronline-mode, together with the constant number of players.

I think I will play Frontline next time, I have now broadly adjusted to Tier8.

I tried a few Frontline games and it was interesting as watching paint dry

Well of course it was boring to you, you could not drive the KV 220 there.

I would welcome FL again this year.

Running low on silver and have several Tier Xs to buy.

Apart from that, it was obviously a fun mode. Almost anything beats randoms (or the "15-3 mode" as per the OP).
