If the next Top of the Tree is the same as the one announced on the NA server (which happened the last 2 times), the British Manticore and the Soviet Object 140 will be the Top of The Tree tanks in August and September.

August 5 to September 5: Manticore
August 20 to September 20: Object 140

Astrologers proclaim August is the month of the Manticore.

Manticore population doubles!

Are any of the Brit LTs worth grinding / blueprinting & keeping? Any that fall the "meh - ok" category or are they all in the "trash" category?

I think only the Manticore worth keeping. Other tiers are just meh.

The Object 140 will be nice - I'm on the T-54 at the moment and so getting a discount on the Tier X is great. I'll give the Setter a go with the new equipment but I don't hold out much hope.

Since anything above tier 7 in the british tech tree is not worth skipping, bar the light tanks, i'd say the manticore is the best way to spend national blueprints.

Also, since it only has 2 crew members you can have it ready to go with 4 skills with 2 women that used the 850k xp boosters you get from the battle pass.

The tank is not even that bad. I mean it's very bad, but compared to other light tanks it's ok.

This is the issue.

The other Light Tanks are definitely not OK. This is the worst of them all regardless of how well one might be able to play in it. Has no redeeming feature that others do not possess and nothing to make it unique.

Good, I will just speed grind through T-44, hopefully unlocking both tanks.

Good news for me. I completed the tier VII the other day and sold it, but had yet to purchase the tier VIII. I thought that there might be some summer discount on tech tree tanks for the 10th anniversary, but this will do.

The tier VII has great camo but my word you can watch paint dry as you wait for a re-load. Play it like an ELC Even 90 and it sort of works.

The Setter is my favorite but the British LT line is for mashocists. (Mashocist: a person who enjoys an activity that appears to be painful or tedious).

Let me know how you like the Tier 8 (and tier 9). I will save my blueprints until the end. ;)

I'm liking the tier 9 GSOR just now, got the Manticore researched but not sure about the two man crew.

My thoughts are that the whole line are good at passive spotting and sometimes can shine once the obligatory EBR is dead.

I got as far as the GSOR, then realised I was only playing it out of self-loathing. I got the necessary counselling and sold it before I had the XP to get the softcore.

Cool I was thinking of buying the T-54 back to mark it.

I've had the Manticore unlocked for months, I doubt even the TOTT discount will persuade me to buy it.

Did you like any of the other ones, or are they all as bad as advertised?
