really WG you drift further from reality every day, 18 euro's for a bunch of pixels to dress up a tank that is not even very popular.

anybody willing to pay for this? even if I owned the tank I will never pay that much for fluff like that

3-4 euros would be a more realistic amount in my opinion

I bought it, had a 15% off coupon that was going to waste anyway. I love cosmetics for my tanks, and while I have a nice kit for the FV 4005 as is, swapping around for extended periods of time is even better and rather refreshing.

I always liked the FV 4005, much more so than the FV 215B 183 in fact. Nerfs notwithstanding, it's still much more enjoyable to play - especially when you can load 183mm HE and HESH to ruin the day of over-armoured nuisances like the Object 268v4, Object 279e and Wannabe-Chieftain.

Most that have that skin, got it for free via the recent event. I doubt many are willing to pay that much for either 3 of the skins given there. As we also clearly did see on the first BM when they wanted 3500 gold for the first set of lootbox skins.

Tho that price I suspect is based on what you had to spend to get all 3 skins, as only one was free.

I got a camo for the 4005 from the racing event, is this one the same or different?

Seems odd to have released 2 camos for the same tank so close together if they're different  :sceptic:

And proven again that people whine no matter what WG try to do to monetize the game, or well, whatever WG try to do. All you people whining are doing is discouraging them from going to the right direction.

The issue here is that the skin was for free via an event recently. You could only afford 1 out of the 3 given with event tokens. You could buy more tokens tho. If they sold it for €3, the people that bought tokens for more than one skin would be a bit... mad I suspect. Same with the T-44-100. It's pricy for a tier 8 prem med. But as it was first given via a marathon even, the price reflected the total cost of all national tokens to skip it.

Well, most want WG to focus on skins as a good monetization option. We all know that. But the issue is, that if WG pushes the price up on each one, they won't sell enough for WG to see it as a good monetization option over broken OP premiums that sell more. Now the price here as explained above is high for a reason. But other skins like the Lowe valentine one was not high due to such events. And I've not seen a single one of those skins tbh. As most thought, the price was too high for a few decals and a paint job for WG to mass sell it. As when it costs as much as a good triple-A  game on steam that's 2-3 years old. It's not an easy sell for most.

Regardless of the price, it's the right way to go down. Comments like this are only discouraging WG.

If i had the tank (and like it) or would aim to get it i would buy it right away.

I would rather have WG sell more of these expensive skins than OP premium tanks.

Here's an idea though it may be quite radical for some.

If wargaming add something to the game for money and the thing they add makes no difference to the game, just shut up and let it happen.

So if tomorrow they add some other tank skin say girls und panzer my little pony or whatever let it happen.

It financed the game and if you don't want to see it you can turn it off.

Someone pays cash and gets a skin they like it acts as camo paint for them and you cannot see it in battle so why do you care.

Stick to complaining about SPGs premium ammo op premium tanks WVs the MM and whatever else you kids are complaining about these days.

Leave the cosmetic changes alone or here's another idea go out of your way to encourage them.

part of the reason for this is QB screaming every Xmas ''WG make more skins, not over powered Premium tanks and put them in loot boxes''

skins arent bad imo there are players that want those, the price can be a little high for a pure cosmetic skin, at that price i would expect it to do someting for me.

like the Soviet heavy skin side skirts would actually give you sideskirts. now that would be worth 18€

but then again it would fall in to pay to win i would imagine.

a fully customised tank with all elements, (paint, camo, decals, etc) is about 12-15€ so... idk customizations are cheaper and i get to decide the tank look, a skin is mostly non customisable so it should be about 10€ imo tbh

and why WG has a time limit for these skins is beyond me. why not keep the skins on sale 24/7 so those that want to buy one can do so when they want.

but there are cool skins out there and more to come, but most often they are for tanks i dont care that much about.

and WG pumping out more premiums instead of skins is also a good alternative to make revenue, i can dig that.

Yep, it's way too expensive. WG still treats cosmetics as "premium items" while they should be "common goods". Basically you want to sell them cheap so they act like "gateway drug" because let's be honest - once you start buying cosmetics, it rarely ends on one skin (everybody who played mmo or a moba knows this).
