i keep getting outplayed by artillery players doing 600 damage to me when i play udes 16, whenever there are 3 artas they all shoot me and i dont know how to counter it.

i try to get to cover but then i dont do damage or get any kills.

They all seem to be pro players because they do so much damage and always kill me so easely. Is there any way i can counter them and kill them?? :(

Easy. Don't press the 'Battle' button in your garage.

The best advice is to play artillery yourself.

I notice you have a good number of games in the M44 - this is helpful but the M44 is easily the best arty in the game tier-for-tier, so can make shots the other arties can only dream of.

Play some russian or french arty and it will show you how to make yourself hard to hit. Remember you don't need to be impossible to hit, just harder to hit than the guy next to you.

Also, play british arty, as they have abnormally high shell arcs so this will teach you where you are safe from them.

Depends on what you drive. If you are a mobile tank, you know what direction they are at when they hit you. And can plan your push accordingly based on their attack angle. As in I tend to look for stuns on my teammates. Indicating that arty is reloading and I have a window.

The most fashionable solution these days (as evidenced by falling player numbers), is to simply not play, or find a game that doesn't pander to mouth breathers.

Hide rocks are your best frend

Also keep moving  ..even when you at a spot keep moving  backward for ward left right (if possible)

But i agree with you the arty spam is just bad...

Especially when in platoon sometimes 80% of the dmg i take is from arty focussing you down.

when i am solo i put my anomizer on and remove my emblems than its a little less.

Ask your arty to counter them.

When you get hit, look at the hit direction marker, point in its direction, then ping the minimap on the location where the shot came from and type "arty" in chat.

If your arty has sentience, they'll probably respond.

It's not often you can get people to do that though even when you ask them. They've got time to complain about being hit tho.

Well playing SPG is supposed to be relaxing, it is not about helping your team, right?

It's better than not asking them at all...

You can't....Arty is the god of the battlefield :)

No seriously, as already mentioned...keep moving. If the arty is tracking you constant movement makes the target circle bloom and you can get away with minimal damage or just stun.

I also agree that if you indicate where an arty shot has come from the freindly arty may be able to counter battery fire it if they haven't got a juicy enemy Heavy in their sights....

Nicely designed game mechanic: You have to assume a player sitting at his own base or somewhere along the red line is always targeting you and can hit you. You can't protect yourself from it because there are very little safe positions anyway and even those positions might not be safe if a clicker has a different angle. Only after you receive first hit, you know roughly where he is and _maybe_ can get cover from it. Most of the times if you are a slow tank, you just can't and can only try to make it harder to hit you. But in reality you really can't avoid very often. You need to stop to take shots and only thing clicker has to wait is that. All this is if you actually try to play the game. Don't get spotted and you are safe from clickers until your team loses or park your tank behind a building or rock, and they can only splash you for 150-400dmg.

Requesting support from your own clickers? :D:D I always ping arty location and tell arty shot me. Maybe there was one occasion in 2013 when one arty actually tried to counter...
