I am now sitting with 14,5k bonds, and will most likely reach 15k within a week or two. Gonna get me the M60 since the "new tanks for bonds!!111" was such a dissapointment.

Do have a decent MT crew (third skill on 85-91%) from the M46 Patton (tier IX) which I did grind out and played a bit like 3-4 years ago. But i want the crew to be better trained - a.k.a. more skills/perks. Escpecially since i do not play tier X so much (do play tons of tier IX), so gonna need all the help I can get to maximize the crew.

Have not the M46 in the garage anymore, sold it to get credits for... something. And I am not in the mood to collect and spend 3,45M credits to buy back the Patton to be able to use crew books - or in the mood for retraining the crew for [insert any fitting tank].  So will have to train the crew the old fashin way.

Do have the M4 Improved, Ram II and T25 Pilot in the garage as crew trainers. They are decent - but they are just so... boring to play. Nothing hard hitting (just pew pew guns), no autoload/reloader, or anything thats stands out from the crowd.

So, is there any US medium tanks that is actually fun to play? Something like derp, autoloader or just...well, fun to play?
The T26e4 and Eagle 7 feels just like another version of the T25 Pilot which I already have, so... Not gonna spend my hard grinded cash there.

The only fun US MT is the Renegade which is a heavy tank.

Yeah I actually thought of something like the Shermans with derp guns as a fun crew trainer (dont mind playing lower tiers just for the lulz and daily missions) - but the collector tanks do need proper trained crew to be used, dont they?  Unlike prems...
As said - not in the mood for spending gold for retraining the crew, really...

M46 Korea is fun and decent.

Doesn't stand a chance against overpowered tanks like a Spaghetti 46 but at least you're sure it will never get nerfed.

100% sure.

M4 Improved.

A nice mix of mobility, best reverse speed in the game (tied with STB-1), fast rate of fire and low penetration on both AP and APCR.

Depends on your definition of fun. I find the T26E4 great, but not fun. I find the Patton KR solid and good, but not fun. I find the T95E2 to be "meh", but not fun. T25 Pilot I've honestly never played after I won it. I find the M4 improved to be useless at anything but spotting. But not fun.

I find the Ram II to be fine, and it gets the job done... but still fun due to the ROF and bully factor alone. So far that's the only US prem med I play for fun tbh.

Well, you've got a limited choice...it's gonna be some form of either the Pershing, or Sherman.

Each is slightly different, yet equally bland. Pick your poison, there's not much difference. (except for the obvious SuperPershing)

I have the T25 Pilot 1. It's decent.

The pilot is better than the Patton kr , just for the mobility and gun handling.

The renegade :)

Yeah I know its SUPPOSED to be a heavy, but it feels more like an up armoured medium with heavy armour rather than an actual heavy when you play it in many respects, but obviously that doesnt help you with crew training

The super pershing is trollish at times, but it depends on whether WG wants to  allow you a good game or not, so mostly its not that good for most players it would seem from its performance stats as its been power crept into irrelevance

So youre really looking at picking the best from the lower tiers which get less silver but more crew bonus than higher tanks, so it will be one of the 2,798 Sherman variants they keep churning out to wallet gouge whenever an intern has a spare hour to knock up another one that is the same as all the others but just looks SLIGHTLY different

One of them comes with a BIA crew if I remember correctly, so personally I would say wait for that one as tjhe BIA crews are worth more than the pile of craptanks they put them in

I personally really enjoy shermans like the Fury and Thunderbolt.

On tier 8 i'd say the TL-1 LPC and Pilot are good choices.

I played mine yesterday. During the game start countdown I was sat next to the Panther and couldn't help but compare our respective barrel sizes. I felt oddly inadequate!
