Patch 1.10 is almost upon us, and with it, a lot of new tank builds will become available. Whether they are viable meta builds or funny memes, the possibilities are seemingly endless. So, without further ado, what builds are you looking forward to trying, and for which tanks?

One build I look forward to implementing is Improved Hardening, Gun Rammer and Turbocharger on the TOG 2*. This increases its base speed to a stunning, never-seen-before 18 km/h as well as its health pool to a ridiculous 1760 hp, rather fitting for a Royal Navy dreadnought. The same build can also go on a Churchill VII, Black Prince and T95 GMC, giving them a speed of 24 km/h in addition to massively buffed tracks and 10% more health. What about you?

Quite literally none

The removal of free to move equipment has pretty much killed the game off for me in one foul swoop as I now have hundreds of pounds worth of premium TDs on two accounts that are unplayable without binos and cammo and the same with heavies that need the toolbox and in many cases the binos too just to be worthwhile and able to function in games

Just figuring out which tanks WG have left in a playable state is likely to take months with over 600 tanks across two accounts most of which use at least one of the free to move pieces of equipment and many of which use 2 or all 3

The rapid introduction of the change has completely derailed even attempting the FV4005 top of the tree event now as with two TOTTs per month it was already a stretch to earn enough silver to complete them and this just means its completely impossible and pointless even trying for the TOTT events anymore, which I guess does save me having to spend money on two of the TOTT booster packs for each TOTT I havent already completed and saving me the cost of potentially 4 of them per month but means the two I already have for the FV are now complete wastes of money so thanks for that WG

In fact I spent most of tonight trying out a "new" playstyle of not moving far from the spawn and just waiting for the enemy to come to me, as without being able to manage max view range anymore on probably 50% or more of my tanks and crapcammo values thats probably the best approach from now on

But it was quite funny seeing the endless stream of morons saying they would report me or trying to blame me for them losing the game, people are just so salty nowadays :)

Just because its not the play style they would "prefer" I adopted doesnt mean its "wrong" in the slightest

So I am expecting to be spending a LOT of time laughing at whingers and whiners over the next 3 years while I wait for my premium time to run out, maybe in the next "update" WG could allow us to add our own comments to the communication wheel I can just press a key for "lol" instead of needing to type it each time :)

As far as i understand the Commander Vision System might be a real gamechanger. TD's might not be able to be as effective as they used to be, heavies will even have a harder time with arty and meds and i have a troublesome relation anyway. So i guess the only thing 'to look forward to' is to replace my < tier 8 lights with tier 8's and up and install CVS?

I'm toying with making my Renegade even more Medium than Heavy, and perhaps some monkeying around with the Obj 252, but otherwise I think I'll leave them pretty much as they are - I have around 220 tanks in garage and I'm waiting to see the exact impact of equip 2.0 before I decide to sell most or not

Improved hardening for all tanks, it was so difficult to play without it all these years.

I’m looking forward to playing many of my tanks without equipment because just to keep the exactly as they are set up now will cost me 14.950.000 credits.

They will mostly retain the equipment they currently have, so a large majority of tier 6 and above tanks in your garage probably won't look any different - I hope so as I'm in pretty much the same boat as you :)

No. I spent a good hour going through my garage, noting what I had, how it would be converted, what would be replaced, what could be sold, what I’d have in depot. And then what I’d need to spend simply to keep the same setups as now.

I’ve explained it here: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/749894-please-calculate-how-much-equipment-20-will-cost-you-purely-for-camo-binocs-toolkits/

SU 100M1 with improved mobility/survivability. Kinda like playing the good ol' 263 when it was tier 10.

Commander's improve vision system on lights.

Turbocharger on a few different tanks, I think those two look the most interesting compared to the standard vents, v-stab, optics and rammer.

Also looking forward to having my Cent 7/1 being a little better as it has full improved equipment.

It gets ninja buffed, because Standard B and 430 gets nerfed.

imho PTA is going to be king of the hill though.

Hmm, interesting - I can't be bothered to spend time looking at it so I'll take your word for it and see what happens on patch day :)

As a proud owner of several Centurion tanks, including the Mk. 5/1, Mk. 7/2, AX and PV, I look forward to giving them Turbochargers to help them reach those hull-down positions quicker, and behave better when going uphill.

Yes facing less stronger peers is always going to help those middling tanks perform a touch better. A point that people didn't really seem to get with the Progetto nerf, you get matched against Progettos in a Bat Chat and now you don't face a tank that is so much obviously better than yours.

Plus even though the 430U nerfs are a bit of a joke, even being able to reliably pen them in the cupolas now with HEAT is something that other meds didn't have before, a hull down 430U was basically a big 'nope' and a big middle finger to other meds, but now you have a chance of doing something to one and making it work a little harder, even if it's a small change.

Yeh PTA if you are good is one the strongest tier 9 meds, I personally think the 50t challenges it though and is probably now the most effective tier 9 med because of it's armour.

i don't get it guys, call me stupid but....Don't you guys think that within 2 weeks every tankclass just simply has its new standard best set ups? I'm just going to wait for the forum posts regarding the best set up and copy those.
