It's finally time to say goodbye to one of the most addictive games I have ever known.

With the recent changes implemented by WG, comes nothing but more frustration. It appears they are specifically targeting those seeking to make gameplay more enjoyable for themselves with the use of mod packs by implementing what they call a, "Demounting Kit". I find it incredibly unnecessary and don't intend to ever touch this game again until these decisions are undone.

Until then. Farewell Team and farewell enemy, may your frustrations be plentiful - it was fun while lasted.

Stevo - over & out.

When you have no problems in life... you need to get yourself riled up over demounting kits.

1st world in a nutshell....

While I have come close to quitting this game for good, more than once, I have to admit I have no idea what you are talking about.

I fail to see how are mod packs and demounting kits related.

My best guess: He was probably using the "move free equipment mod" to move his binos, cammo net and toolbox from IS-7 to his Type 5 and vice versa..now he has to buy new items or use a demount kit every time...#Steveisconfused

I made close to 2 million credits profit from this patch, un-mounting modules that I sold for 300k each and buying the new appropriate one from 50k to 200k

What are those people talking about?

There probably is a reason why WG disregard players feedback, they would go insane...

The demounting kit is not exactly "new" tbh. Been in the game for a long time already. That it's the first time they sold bundles of 50 for silver. They originally wanted it as reward drops until they reworked it to daily missions.

I've already gotten a few each day from daily missions. So it seems they added it there again for it to be an.... issue.

The difference was that he bought 1 binoc and 1 camo for 50 tanks and kept moving them. Wheras you bought 50 binocs and 50 camo to avoid having to move them all the time

(50 was used as an example, possibly not the actual number of tanks involved)

So...was I the only one who preferred to have my bino and camo on each tank I wanted them, without moving them around? If I need them I will buy them and place them where I want and never bother with them again.  And no, I am not a premium time user.

No it was an utterly stupid idea, and worse the execution was atrocious. Principally because it will force many players to spend gold.

Either

(i) do what War gaming did in World of Warships when they changed equipment and demount everything each player has for free, or

(ii) give each player enough de-mount kits linked directly to the number of tanks that they have in the garage

Doing what War gaming did and give each paying customer a mere 30 kits is a rubbish move. More than that it directly discriminates against their oldest most loyal customers who have a greater number of tanks and pieces of equipment.

If you are a community contributor you should realise that and feedback to War Gaming that it has annoyed a great many of their customers. There are numerous threads about why it forces people to spend gold so either you are (a) to lazy to read all the other threads, (b) to slow to have worked out it is going to cost players gold because 30 kits is just no where near enough, or (c.) you are trolling.
