I've noticed that on tier 4 a crew book costs 2,000,000 silver. Is this price the same for higher tiers or does it gradually increase with each higher tier?

Price is always the same. For 100% crew, book gives you around 1.5 skill/perk.

It does not mater which tier the tank is, the crew book has the same price, the one you can buy with 2 mil credits.

Dont waste good credits. Later on, it is credits you will be short of, not XP.

The more you play, you will get lots of crew books along the way.

Crews arent worth spending loads on at the lower levels where map awareness and strategy have a much bigger impact because of the lower skilled players.

When you are at T6/7/8, you will wish you had them just to be competitive with a  skilled up crew.

When you take the same crew to higher tier tanks you will still have the crew skills, and as an added benefit you can make use of those skills in the early stages. This is of course provided you have those credits to spend on crew books, most starters don’t have that kind of credits yet.

:great:

There is an old strategy for making a new crew - you recruit your commander from a final campaign mission, but you buy everyone else for credits/gold.

Sixth sense is the only crucial perk in the game and commander has more usefull perks than any other crew member, so will also benefit from having your commander of higher level than the rest of the crew.

It is very nice to buy crew books and have 100% crew with 1,5 skills-perks,

but I find them expensive, especially at lower TIER vehicles.

Maybe at higher TIERs this cost could be acceptable, but at TIER 4 you don't make that many credits easy.

You have 400 battles, if you're going to be paying for everything from the start,

buying gold for credits, buying crew books, premium vehicles, improved battle pass etc etc,

you're going to waste a lot of (real) money on the game, progress fast, but you won't enjoy the battles.

Because you're crew might have the experience required, but you won't.

Don't rush up the TIERs and the Tech Tree, patience is the virtue of the few.

I can understand wasting an acceptable amount of cash on the game, just don't waste to much.

I think it is more useful to spend money on a premium account, this gives both crew XP and credits a +50% bonus.

The crew books become interesting when you reach higher tiers and you decide that you need to train a new crew, maybe because you start a new branch or maybe because you decide that you really like that tier 9 but also want to play that tier 10. By that time you will presumably have earned some millions and it can be a good investment since at those tiers at very least the basic crew skills are mandatory.

At lower tiers, don’t bother with crewbooks unless you get them for free. The books are relatively even more expensive for lower tiers, since credit income is also lower. You will also need those credits for buying tanks. And to be fair, having extra crewskills is nice here but not mandatory or even expected. Many people play lower tiers with new crew and grind crew exp the oldfashioned way.
