The map icons I can live with they are better than just a ping on the map.

The original message hub with 6 default messages and more available depending on tank you were driving and target selected were basically very good.

Some mods allowed for many more messages, there was the basis for a system where we could have 18 messages and if that wasn't enough a simple shift command could have added even more.

36 messages and or phrases probably covers all eventualities most games probably 3 or 4 is enough.

The voice messages are a little unclear but maybe that's my imperfect hearing I usually have to check the message window to know for sure.

Could we get 800p for the tankrewards as a compensation?

1) Will this micro-patch nuke the ability to watch 'older' replays?

2) The point of removing affirmative / negative if you re-add it back in the next patch?

3) "Fixed some technical issues." - we ( i ) would like to know more specifically what. It's a good heads up where to expect new bugs / old bugs to disappear.

Unbelievable... WG has listened to the feedback.

They've stated this about 2 months ago on WG NA (via Reddit).

F5 and F6 would be reinstated and such a change was due not "Soon™" but "Imminent",

WG's "Imminent" has yet to fail.

WG listens to feedback... I guess some devs gets a bad standing due to their FUBAR, as it is a company standard never to listen to feedback.

Taking into account the strain that parts of the development department may be under due to their physical location I would think the reaction speed was still good.

But why was it removed to begin with and in the case it was removed it was most likely just commented out of the code such that they could enable it quite fast once more.

[edited] change. I was used to press the Z button and then select the appropriate response. The AFFIRMATIVE and NEGATIVE responses are not there after this micro-patch and my job is more complicated to try to remember F5 or F6, *edited*

That bit is why I mapped my Y, H and N keys to "affirmative (yes)", "help" (though I am either too stubborn or too dead to use that) and "negative (no)". Feels much easier and intuitive to remember.

The N is allocated to the personal missions screen and it will make things more complicated if I try to select another key.

I don't think it was just a matter of undoing the recent changes. The quick commands were not the only feature they've been working on and I guess it's better to have one big micro patch with several fixes and improvements rather than having different small ones every now and then.

I mapped those to M, because M for Missions made more sense as well.

Of course it is, but also the M key makes sense to use it as a Minimap ON-OFF switch as it currently/default works for.  My point is that you can select whatever you like but it will take a big effort to get used of all these changes, if your fingers are automatically do all these actions for almost 6 years, like I do.
