Well you know what I sold that STRV S1 I just cant stand relying on my team, I said the STRV was a crap team magnet in another post, wow this thing is a crap team black hole in 27 battles I was rocking 33% wins  boyakasha

I may not be the best player but I can tell when looking at game after game on tier 8 that I'm getting crap teams we've all seen it before the lemming train red lining light tanks etc etc the STRV S1 bring them all out of the woodwork like no other vehicle ever encountered so much so the Swedes realised that if they ever built a prototype in real life, it would have brought about the end of Sweden. It would have created a black hole

This tank almost as bad as the M56 scorpion, I'm a fool for forgetting, I hate sniping in real life its cool but games..... nah never been a fan of the game style Call of duty Destiny etc etc I always preferred brutal point blank shotgun style gameplay, Kind of reminds me why I stopped playing high tiered arty it made stressed and in my spare time id rather have fun than start to get annoyed with my team mates whom after all are just having fun

This is an extraordinarily frustrating tank to play unless you enjoy watching paint dry whilst you are on fire, then its for you!  I'm going free to play as the wallet is in ICU the wallet surgeon said it might take many months of recuperation before he's fully recovered

T28 for brutal simplicity will replace it.

Moral of the story research Prem tanks before you buy them, Also if you don't like a tank premium, or otherwise sell it....... there's absolutely nothing wrong with being completely impulsive

As long as you have something jingling in your pockets you have nothing to worry about.

but you are doing more damage in s1 then t95, thus t95 is even worst, isn't it

If you continue selling your premium tanks, you will end up living in a van down by the river.

I like the replies.

It's true maybe you'll see me in the tank gutter, cap in hand.

I suppose the cheese wedge was always going to struggle in these hands. I could blame it on power creep, new meta and various other things but in reality I'm only good at seal clubbing, fartillery and assault TD's.

Dunno what I'm gonna do to earn silver?

Ah Ha.....Tier 6 Farty, it feels so wrong but, someone's gotta do it otherwise this class might die out.

Penny for the guy!

Just play recklessly like I did just moments ago in the similar UDES 03 :) http://wotreplays.eu/site/5600190#ruinberg-hjorte-udes_03

I cannot advocate or support action without thought unless that action is the result of instinct.(genetic memory)

Would it be fair to say that your unconscious or rather subconscious decision and subsequent action to sell the strv was born from a type of self preservation for the integrity of the mind?

Admittingly I dont play them much. Nor does it always go well if I do, but both Strv S1 and sCorpion are quite fun to play every once in a while.

I find it funny btw how you say it makes the enemy come out of the woodwork. I always see the opposite. Where do you park it then? minsk square?

T95 does less damage because it is so damn slow. I have had plenty of zero damage games where you just don't meet a single enemy before they are all dead. But it has good armor and alpha, so it can just press W and LMB in many games, and cut through enemies like town of Highway map.

But sure, if you play T95 like S1... well yeah it's worse then :)

Generally in the STRV, I red line bush cemp in a good-ish position covering corridors or open spaces I had a 3 skilled crew with BIA, Camo, Snap, smootthride ETC

But I was continuously  out spotted by Lights and almost always had no one spotting on my team.

As I say I may not be the most skilled player but I know my tank role and if I play lights I go out and spot. I do not sit behind Arty or go city with heavy tanks only to die.

When I say players came out of the woodwork I meant "bad players" "really bad players", like the light tank sitting on the red line or Pantera bush camping. 3 blind arty none of them coordinating shots or targets, and never ever reloacting

I'm seeing targets lit up for 2 mins and no arty even shoots them.

In the 27 battles I had in this triangular bag of khakka almost every battle was identical, no spotters, lemming trains going down on side of the map you know the score. Whereas in Farty I can average 2-3 kills a game, in assaults TDs I can do 1000's of Damage and pick up kills which help my team. In sniper tanks I have to rely on "people" who can barely tie their own shoelaces let alone work out how to turn on the hud after they accidentally pressed V, 6 months ago

Added to this, my reactions have slowed with age and I'm missing shots I used to make with ease, oddly enough sniper tanks do require quick reflexes, on a moving light or wheeled vehicle and its sad to admit but I just cant reliably  make these shots anymore. In real life I was quite an accomplished Radio control Pylon racing pilot during lockdown I bought a plane and couldn't fly it with the same grace

I didn't crash but decided after a bumpy landing that I didn't feel safe flying Just as we get growth spurts in our youth we also get ageing spurts in middle age and the decline can be quite subtle unless you take a break and return to an activity such as WOT or RC planes it becomes more obvious.

I cant believe i used to be able to fly RC this well, I could have beat this guy hands down,

Now im happy to go for sedate slow fly aircraft or trainers. Its about adapting too.

But with the STRV S1 I know no amount of turd polish will make it shine

Yeah its a bad tank in the current map rotation and wheeled vehicle meta

Typical WG I know its not on purpose but they tend to neglect certain vehicle types with map changes and OP vehicles, however there are many hidden gems on the tech tree anyways

Still lesson learnt I will never buy another premium tank sold off my ELC 90 and Is3A just so bored of these tanks.

its actually pretty easy to make credits without a tier 8 premium

Aims a realy outdated game.  Taugrim once cslled it the faukt of pure vertical grind.thete is no story behind the action... f.e. on NA 2 years ago i had 67% WR in wolverine.  Niw i struggle to keep it at 47...would i buy another prem? Mayve e25 and lefh maybe...but only for fun

I find the title of this thread very inspiring and it can be applied to so many seemingly uncool things!

That is not the meta, it is merely how you play. Also:

Thank you Sir, I had my daily amount of internet laugh from this one.
