Played this tank in one battle lost did 2.4k combined and 2 kills, had my gun mark at 79% ie 1st mark. Finished the battle and had to triple check what I was seeing!!!! Are people really playing this tank that badly!

You realize this tank was given to every new player right? New players now start with this tier 7.

Haha, I recently started playing it, managed to get my 3rd mark within 90 battles, 66.67% win rate, it went great.

Next up I decided to continue on the same note with the M46 KR. Same tank type, same crew, same equipment, same consumables, thought it might yield similar results.

Boy was I wrong. 33% win rate after 21 battles with horrible stats. Nothing works.

While the Eagle7 did not require a fire extinguisher (I don't remember ever being set on fire in 90 battles), the M46 KR spontaneously combusts when first spotted, or so it seems. During my first 10 battles this tank burned down 4 times, was ammo racked once (explosion) and ammo damaged every other battle. The Eagle7 has a weak ammo rack too, but darn! The M46 KR seems to have all its shells dangling on the outside.
Another thing, this shows hot top heavy the game has begun. With my Eagle7, many battles were Tier 8 maximum, a few were against Tier 9 and a good chunk I found myself top tier. Switching to M46 KR, I was only top tier once (first battle with the tank), the rest were against Tier 9 (a few) and Tier 10 (most of them). Also, while switching from Tier 7 to Tier 8, the armor simply disappeared. Tier 8 and above tanks have suffered from penetration creep for a long time, to the point where everything pens me while playing with the M46 KR. With the Eagle7 I could sidescrape and be cautious versus maybe 5 of 15 enemies. With M46 KR I kinda have to stay hidden in a corner and hope nobody notices me or I'm dead.

I mean it's not literally every noob, but it is by far the best reward for recruits atm.

 

Before they added Eagle, I think the KV-122 was the best tier 7 they had to offer but that's not much.
