Greetings commanders,

 

The Aufklärungspanzer Panther, a German Tier VII light tank, is coming to the Supertest today.

 

 

This vehicle was previously available in the German Tech Tree, and its updated version will have some features in common with the old one. The Aufklärungspanzer Panther is quite large and has great armor for a light tank. The thickness of the frontal armor plates is 85 mm at most. The vehicle top speed can reach up to 55 km/h, and has a specific power of 22.3 h.p./t. The view range is 380 m, with a durability of 1,000 hit points.

 

This light tank is equipped with a 75 mm gun that causes 135 damage per shot. The gun has good stabilization, but its accuracy is 0.33m and an aiming time of 1.6 s. Reloading takes 5.5 s. One of the vehicle’s most unusual features is that it has no HE shells vehicle, only standard (157 mm of penetration) and special (205 mm of penetration) shells.

 

The Aufklärungspanzer Panther embodies the idea of a heavy reconnaissance vehicle. Components of both medium and light tanks went into its design. Thanks to its mobility and good gun handling parameters, this vehicle can support medium tanks by both spotting and damaging enemies.

 

Vehicle stats can change on the Supertest.

They have 5 weeks; more than enough. Less if they want to make it the Long Awaited Reward of 2020 end of November, in stead of the Super Chaffee. Which is why I think it will be in the lootboxes; plenty of playerbase that want it back.

We don't know yet how the tank will be introduced but we will let you know once we have more info.

As I said, we don't know how and if the tank will be added to the game. We have many ways to introduce a tank and many of them are accessible to old and new players!

More than Happy to buy two of these if they're around 20 euros (one for me, one for my girl). If it's gonna be in boxes, it's gonna need a substantial dpm or mobility buff to make it worthwhile...

Now that we're on the topic of releasing old light tanks as prems... Any chance of seeing the old 37mm autoloader of the MT-25 back as a prem? I'd buy two of those too!

I am happy it got put back to tier 7 and not the tier 8 version we saw two ears go. All it needs is a little bit of fine tuning and it is finally back

Well it used to have tier 8 mm so it was more of tier 8 than tier 7.

True, but now it will not meet tier 10 tanks and that is a big plus for me.

 

But we getting a nerfed version despite the game and tanks have evolved for 5 years makes me kinda sad. Even if we get it back with the old tier 7 stats it wont be a supertank. But at least playable.

But as a T8 you could use it to troll play in Frontline, Skirmishes and Clanwars.

Whereas a tier 7 has no use besides random battles.

Shame; could use your Dinger alt for t6 skirmishes; would be more useful than me filling out teams...

Gun is too potato... Too low dpm, useless speed (a lot of mediums are faster) and unnecessary high camo value. IMO better give me 60kph speed and some dpm and take away all the camo it has.
