I'd have to say 4 and 6. Why? being a poor player the fun factor still remains for me in the lower tiers with many players having a similar skill level. Above all though it's T34's , T34-85, Tiger 131, M4 sherman, hetzer, Matilda and covenator to name a few. Despite playing a tank game for some time now I still don't really know many of the tanks at tier 8 & 10. Shameful I know but it's often M4's, Churchill's and T34 I'd watch in old war movies as a kid so playing my Obj 430U hasn't got the same appeal. Although I will admit I've never watched double barreled tanks in movies but lets face it they are just so much fun to play historical or not.
I suppose it's a role play thing I guess for me. Running around the battle field in my T34 has a different enjoyment to it if that makes any sense? It's a shame WG couldn't have kept the game mode where nations fought against each other. Now that would have been fun.
I also enjoy the lower to mid tiers as the maps just seem larger. Once you reach tier 10 most tanks can see up to 445m and if not have the mobility to see the back of a map far quicker (EBR105) than most lower tier tanks. Also it seems that in the upper tiers each player knows their tank class and where it's expected to go on the map and everyone sticks to the same plan each time or risk a load of abuse from better players. It feels more repetitive in that sense.
Tiers 1-3 ? I did play in tier 1 once and a player had well over 15000 battles in a Leichttraktor so it does have it's fans but the bottom tiers aren't much to shout about for many I think?? I do play them from time to time as the gameplay is totally chaotic which can make me giggle. Tier 3 was at times enjoyable, but seems to really struggle in +1 mm sinse update 1.10. The loss of a consumables slot being the largest disadvantage I found.
