I'd have to say 4 and 6. Why? being a poor player the fun factor still remains for me in the lower tiers with many players having a similar skill level. Above all though it's T34's , T34-85, Tiger 131, M4 sherman, hetzer, Matilda and covenator to name a few. Despite playing a tank game for some time now I still don't really know many of the tanks at tier 8 & 10. Shameful I know but it's often M4's, Churchill's and T34 I'd watch in old war movies as a kid so playing my Obj 430U hasn't got the same appeal. Although I will admit I've never watched double barreled tanks in movies but lets face it they are just so much fun to play historical or not.

I suppose it's a role play thing I guess for me. Running around the battle field in my T34 has a different enjoyment to it if that makes any sense? It's a shame WG couldn't have kept the game mode where nations fought against each other. Now that would have been fun.

I also enjoy the lower to mid tiers as the maps just seem larger. Once you reach tier 10 most tanks can see up to 445m and if not have the mobility to see the back of a map far quicker (EBR105) than most lower tier tanks. Also it seems that in the upper tiers each player knows their tank class and where it's expected to go on the map and everyone sticks to the same plan each time or risk a load of abuse from better players. It feels more repetitive in that sense.

Tiers 1-3 ? I did play in tier 1 once and a player had well over 15000 battles in a Leichttraktor so it does have it's fans but the bottom tiers aren't much to shout about for many I think??  I do play them from time to time as the gameplay is totally chaotic which can make me giggle. Tier 3 was at times enjoyable, but seems to really struggle in +1 mm sinse update 1.10. The loss of a consumables slot being the largest disadvantage I found.

tier 9 seems the most fun, there is reasonable levels of balance and enough variety to keep things interesting.

Agreed with tier 9 such as Scoda, Standard,T49, 13 90, T30 etc. Good MM for them and easy to play with a little prem ammo ( for tough heavies only)

I agree mm is the best at tier 9 with +1 -2 so even a poor player like me can have a good game. Still prefer playing in a Tiger even though seeing +2 time after time can become a little frustrating.

Tier 4, Matilda and Alecto, 8, but the Turtle may help, plus  I think it is better then the  TS 5. (no idea why) 9, Tortoise, and 10 always on top.

10. Most competitive and you cant be screwed by bottom tier matchmaking.

Same tier and -2 surely can't be more more competitive though? Is it not more of a challenge to be bottom tier in +2 games? Frustrating as hell for a poor player like me but I would have thought really good players would welcome +2 games. Beating a tank two tiers higher must offer some satisfaction ? Or am I reading competitive in the wrong context ?

4-7 for me too and mostly limited to the tanks that really existed. It adds something special when driving around in a Chaffee, Hellcat, Strv. 74, Tiger, Panther, AMX 13-75, WZ 131 and the likes.

6, 7 and 9.

Tier 1-5 are just a bit too inconsistent and derpy, but still more playable than 8 and 10.

Tier 8 and 10 are just filled with too many unbalanced pieces of s*** tanks that you have to carry against.

I only play up to tier 8 but so far tier 7 is best for me. Although the tier 7 tanks are mostly underwhelming I have enough skill to do well there and it's a matchmaking sweetspot with less chance of seeing -2 than tiers 5, 6 and 8.

Tier 7 and 9 because 7 tanks are usually good at something and can hold their own in Tier 8 games and Tier 9 because they are strong enough to fight Tier 10 and feast on Tier 8's

Tier 7 and 9, Tier 7 is fun because the matchmaking isn't as scuffed as Tier 8 yet and Tier 9 because you don't meet as many horrible players anymore and knowledge of the game is starting to play an important role.. and the matchmaking is better than Tier 8.

Every day different

One day tier 8 is nice day after you get ya behind whooped 10 games in a row.

What works for me in platoon  we start in tier 5 if we win we go a tier up  or if we lose 3 in a row.

And if we have a long game night we play the tier where we get the most wins.

But tier 4 or lower i dont play.

Tier 7 for light tanks, the last tier they actually have an advantage over other classes in terms of camouflage and viewrange as well as competitive guns.

Tier 8 and 9 for the other classes.

Tier 6 - I think there are a lot of interesting tanks there and it's the tier that feels most balanced to me.  Plus, it's probably the highest tier where I feel like I can somewhat and sometimes carry my team.
