Up until know I thought that garage, housing space, whatever you want to call it is limited for a free to play player.

Turns out there is some amount of chance you can get it as a special mission.

Maybe they're not 100% sellout.

Good of you to consider it and not entrench yourself in one opinion - kudos!

Yeah I think people often complain without realizing how much stuff you do get for free.

I think most of the cries of greedy WG are from adolescents or tight wads who do not have a disposable income and falsely assume that anyone driving a premium  tank is pay to win, when often the reality is its the opposite.

Pay to lose judging by the amount of players i see with 30 battles driving a tier 8 premium lol

Consider WoT as a hobby and it won't be expensive then :D

PC gaming in general is my hobby, as I am sure also for many here. WoT is a part of that.

For all the complaining that we can do about WoT, WGs practises and so on. I suppose this topic could highlightball the good things about the game and its content.

One thing I would like to highlight is that by simply playing a tank and getting a very good win, the game can give you litteral premium time for simply having given it some time also.

I think that about half of what I own in the game, its been given to me directly or indirectly whereby I mostly needed just to invest time and play the game.

Something I cannot say about may other games.

And yes I can have sessions where I' like to demolish my monitor. If I then take some time off, breathe a bit I return, maybe to get a great session and 24 hrs of premium time.

I the end I keep coming back to the game and I am getting better, or manage to fun with what I'm less good with, but remain having an overall positive experience.

And every once in a while I check for some cool tank I still dont have yet, think itnover for a while and maybe decide going for them via the tech tree (as I'm doing now for 3 lines)

It'll take me a long time, but thats alright.

Also looking at how many events this game have dished out, WG is facilitating much to play around with, not even talking the increasing customization and so on.

Now please give me the glashlight-bright revenants pleeaaase:bush:

Some hobbies are expensive this one is cheap.

I have friends who wargame with figures.

They have to buy several thousand figures paint them all over weeks or months then build their own map just to fight one battle.

I click on battle

They give out far more stuff than the did when the game started. I remember when the freebies were pretty much limited to x2 at the weekend.

WG has laxed over the years. Now they give out plenty of goodies, even for F2P players! You can't satiate everyone's desires, and the negativity surrounding these freebies tends to overshadow the positives at times.

Couldn't agree more, I sometimes wonder if it's a case of people getting spoiled and expecting more all the time that leads to calls of greediness ...

Yup, they give out a lot nowadays, if you do not want the best stuff.

- Tank Rewards gives a lot of small repair/first aid kits, 4 per day. Can´t even remember when it was the last time I bought some of those while previously I had to stockpile them when they were on discount. There are also the Stage rewards, and Stage 3 can be reached by playing one battle per day.

- Daily Missions get you some pretty useful stuff, credits, demounting kits, garage places to who needs them. The epic rewards are even better. I mean, one can now even get equipment class 1.

- Battle Pass gives so much stuff I cannot even count them.

- Demounting Kits in themselves allows to just move equipment between tanks.

- Premium days from here or there, even from weekend events.

- Premium itself means so much more than just credit multiplier compared to the pass.

These are all stuff we get just by playing the game, as we would normally, without the special events etc. It is really quite a lot.

Basically the only thing one does not get is free high-tier premium tanks. That is fair, I believe.

Things could still be better though World of Warships for example give you thee supply drops per day, plus camos and flags enable more fxp and credit boosting, nothing like that here, plus the 600 000 credits it coast to mount equipment, not hard to see why folk think they are running on pure greed.

Alas WoT's is not going to change any time soon so whatever anyone thinks, you either suck it up or leave.

Personal Missions, Campaign. Complete those, the higher tiers give a bunch of garage slots.

Absolutely, and if you play for long periods every day (as I do) it works out really cheap. In fact, it is the cheapest hobby I have ever had, and I was quite a big spender in the game until Equip 2.

edit: Just to say I also have a free to play account I started up as artillery only, largely to make use of what I consider a funny and provocative user-name, however, this part of the experiment has failed dismally, no-one ever comments on the name! :(

I have not spent a penny on this account, have done around 750 games and have just unlocked the GW Panther.

or the fact that they have given everyone nearly a month of premium for free in 2020. Or the fact that they have made grinding xp waaaay easier in recent years. As well as the missions, battles passes , tank rewards and tons of special events that give loads to players. Boosters are given out like change.

The moans about WG always remind me of the Peoples Judean Front asking what the Romans have ever done for them.
