I have 6k games, terrible overall stats but recently I have this:

How do I go beyond this?
Just by playing?
How do I set goals to myself, what should I focus on?
Is there any good advice?

Just learn from your experience. Learn how maps usually work out. You'll simply be able to make better predictions and play into situations better.
Just so you know, 6k battles is not a lot. There's still so much to learn.
I'm still learning more stuff as well every day.
By learning why you don't.
If you die, ask yourself why you did and if it was worth it and if by relocating you could have lived longer (sometimes trading HP is certainly worth it, and sometimes bad luck is bad luck, but often if you don't die among the last, it was a mistake from your side).
If you are not shooting something, ask yourself why not. Should you not relocate. For example you are somewhere hiding since you peeked before you were shot, and if you peek again you will be shot again. Then why are you still in that location. Move. And you cannot move, ask yourself how it can be you got stuck in this location. Did you overextend? Should you have seen that an exit was at all times possible.
Playing well is a delicate balance between ensuring you are aggressive enough (to spot, create opportunities, gain your team map and vision control, keep your gun in the game) and cautious enough (ensure you survive, have an exit strategy, run away when needed). It's not easy, that's why not everyone is a good player.
And for reference, with for example my stats, you will still completely fail at successfully doing this 1/3 to 1/4 of the games you play.

Pick a tank that you like and post up a couple recent replays. We'll have a look and see what things you are doing wrong or could do better. Take those suggestions and go try some more games and see if you can use those suggestions to do better in that tank.
If you find you do better then come back with a couple more games and we'll see what else you might be able to try. In theory with some ideas of where you've been going wrong and some practice you should find you do better in that tank overall.
all been said on what should be done in battle.
How to set goals?
Use this diagram and set the goal to keep all numbers Green.

Even at 90k matches I am using this to set my own goals.

The best advice from me at this stage is to keep playing at tier 5 and tier 6 a lot.
After you get your WR up a bit, move slowly to tier 7 etc.
Look at your tanks, you are really good in some of them and really bad in others. If you are just after stats then play the ones that you are good in, you should get better. Try to play a lot of games in one or two tanks so you know the good and bad points.
Dont unlock lots of tanks (like I do) and more up the tiers slowly, if tier 10 is your target then your winrate will drop.

Pretty much this. Reflect and reflect more.

Very well said. But u describe also the big prob of new Players. with all those 15:3 or worse games, u ae not able to grind up quick ( don t want to imagine how awful it is without prem account ) . And this Problem leads to the next . People with 50 k games and 5 perk Crews, pruple Equipment and full Gold loaded sitting in the low Tiers waiting for their seal Clubbing... best comment i read since Long " don t look to hard at them "..ist a game, challenge is outside, real life

With all the added bonusses you are able to grind up significantly more quickly than let's say 4 years ago though (and the "all those 15:3 or worse games" were just as common then all data suggests).
As far crews, overrated. BIA and sixth sense are the only ones that matter.
Improved equipment is rare (even the bounty equipment costs to move around) in tier 8 and above apart maybe in some players who play thousands of battles in one tank (but generally they aren't really good, even despite that).
Gold ammo, I remain convinced that you can be competitive with just the amount that still makes your overall credit income positive, certainly tier 8 and below.

Your problem isn't that the game is ending 15-3 but that you aren't doing much whilst your team is winning your game for you. If you want the XP you have to earn it by doing your share of the work.
