3 Artilleries from VIII to X is to much

Hi all, 

First of all, I know this might be "another" SPG topic and I should put this under the SPG page, but with 707 pages I doubt anybody reads that as it contains the most widest suggestions and I like to stick to this specific one.   Second, I am not against artillery / SPG in general. I believe they have a function and I also have played plenty of SPG with ups and downs.

Now my suggestion to improve the game play for both. the people who like to play SPG and the folks who sort of hate them. I believe there should be a limit on how many SPG's are in a random match. I believe at the moment the limit is 3.  I would love to see this down to maybe 1 or 2 for games that include tier VIII to tier X. 

on lower level tiers, the tanks are smaller, faster and they are much harder to hit, also the splash damage is not that large so the effects are minimum.

But when SPG's sitting on a safe side at the other end of the map, with 3 of them in a Tier IX / X match up - while a total of 6 heavies are having a face off and exchanging shots and are being constantly bombed by SPG shells that easily do 500 damage, stun and crank up all modules and crew on board specially when using gold - and even when they miss, still inflict severe damage due to the splash radius - it obviously becomes way to much.

So, Wot crew, fix this please and implement a SPG limit of just 1 or 2 per random battle in Tier VIII to X games.

This is for a reason, as the que would be even longer when picking an arty at higher tiers. Arty of these tiers are also used to complete personal missions, so it makes sense that there are more in the que.

Besides this, I doubt ANY employee from WG will ever read this, even though you made a new topic and indeed it should be in the arty topic in the sticky.

why, would be interesting new mode : 5 ebr and 10 arty on each side.. the winner Pays the Popcorn lol

Not one to complain about arty, but today there has been a lot of three per game with EBR's and what seems focus fire from arty.

 

It should never have been nerfed as hard as it was, the XP earning is a joke, but do agree if they had hard limited it to one or two per game it would be a lot less frustrating for many players as we can see in the arty complaints.

Well yeah, like I said im not against artillery - but when Tier IX and Tier X artilleries (3 of them) each fire on a choke point and do a good 500 to 600 damage and even when they miss due to the splash give (up to 12m) enemies around it a whopping 300 damage it does start to effect the game play.

Yes 3 makes the game unplayable, and guess what? 2 is also way too much, as everyone can attest from playing this garbage ranked mod. The problem is that way too many ppls are playing this class, just start a game and check with what the mm has to deal with. 

So, they should have already limited them to 1 per game, since years.

1 is the only acceptable mount 6 m44 in a game is no fun

Its only a problem on certain maps; Prok, Westfield (heavy side), Malinovka (hill), but in general yeah 2 would probably be better than 3.

So you could you could stick to playing lower tiers if you can't handle playing T8 to T10.
