WG remove the King Tiger C so they can make more money by selling it, I had the King Tiger C so I'm damed if I will now pay for it.

No you didn't, it was a rental.

Amazon prime gave you the King Tiger C, it was never 'yours'.

Deal comes to an end, no more King Tiger C, it was there as an incentive for WOT players to have Amazon Prime.

It was never yours to keep, the tank was a rental for the duration of the event. The event is over. The extra freebies/crews/boosters you do get to keep.

While they debate of if they *SHOULD* have taken it away is still raging, the tank was never fully yours. You did pay for it behind the scenes via Twitch Prime but it was probably never the full amount of a Tier 7 premium price.

So yes, technically in the literal WoT sense of the word it was a rental and it was never yours, on the surface.

Actually you paid with a far more important thing than money. You gave WG access to your data. So yes WG are double dipping, but what is new?

Been out the WOT loop for a few months

Personally I got a free tank to use while already being an Amazon prime user.  So they took the tank back.... I'm still an Amazon Prime user with a load of free stuff.

Wont buy it tho not matter how much i liked it

Incentive?

To have terrible tank?

I think most of us have Prime for a very different reasons...

Its real sad thet the whole Tiger line got buffed only, the KTC not. The armor buff is really need, its top sloped turret armor is easily overmatched with 120mm guns

Terrible? Ok, you lost a battle in it, but you only played 8 and you won the other 7. It's also in your top 15 by average XP.

Personally I thought it was one of the nicest Heavies I've played, so I'm not sure why you think it's a bad tank.

You did pay to rent it, not own it. If WG pulled the plug with Twitch you would still lose it. I don't see the difference. But WG more or less did say when it arrived it would not last forever. And rotating for other premiums was kinda expected at some point.

King Tiger C is now/was premium I bought immediately when it became premium, and I loooooove it. But the thing is, I had it for like a year with twitch prime, but did not enjoy it.. Only with new equipment I feel really confident with it, before, nah, I didnt rly like it. Now I use it with extra hp, rammer, and improved rotation mechanism, and its a very good tier 7 tank. I only wish you could change nation to germany, like you can make Rudy PL/CCCP.

To be fair in this instance I think that a little additional transparency from WG would have gone a long way. It was not obvious that it was a rental. They could have slapped an in-game "rental" label on it like every other rental. In my case, I had prime anyway, no biggie, but if the presence of the King Tiger encouraged you to get Prime, you have my sympathy.

There's some serious white knighting going on in this thread. Yes, strictly speaking it was made clear that the vehicle was not yours to keep forever and that it was part of the Twitch Prime Gaming subscription. But at the same time, letting players use a tank for literally years and suddenly taking it away, just reeks of bad customer service. From a technical perspective there was nothing stopping Wargaming from letting you keep the tank. It wasn't a smart idea to even offer an agreement where it was necessary to take it away after the exclusivity period expired. But even if you wanted to buy it after the exclusivity period, Wargaming never fully fixed the bug that wouldn't allow you to buy the tank. They simply mishandled this in every way possible, there's nothing else to say about it.

Unfortunately it was intended as a rental but WGing wrote the text around it badly (they are not good at being clear).

I thought it was being done at a discount as recompense? If you liked it then consider it, if you didnt then dont.

WG have a perfect opportunity to build some community trust now.

When they decide to sell the Tiger C as a premium tank, they make it so those who had Amazon Prime and thus rented it, gets a discount on the tank based on how long they had Amazon Prime.
