Hi everyone I hope you can help!

At really random intervals my whole PC crashes to black screen when Playing WoT (or War Thunder). When it happens the GPU fans spin really loud but I can also still hear sound from games/YouTube. It almost always happens around when I alt-tab in and out of games and only those two, Metro Exodus for example is fine with it.

My PC is:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA H81M-S2H
CPU: Intel i7 4790K (not OC)
GPU: KFA2 RTX 2070Super (not OC)
RAM: 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LP RAM at 1600MHz
PSU: Corsair SF750
CPU cooler: Kraken M22 liquid cooler.
Case: Coolermaster MasterCase MC500M with two big intake fans and two exhaust (third for the M22)
OS: Windows 10 Professional
Audio: Steelseries Arctic Pro headset and the monitor's inbuilt speakers via NVIDIA high def audio
Monitor: Samsung CF791 34"

I've sent the GPU back for testing and it's worked fine in another rig and I don't remember the problem with my old GTX 960 either.

I've deleted all the graphics drivers and reinstalled from fresh about three times.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

It seems to be really random with no rhyme nor reason but things that *may* make it more likely are having Firefox/Chrome open and playing YouTube in the background.
As said it almost always (99.98%) occurs on alt-tabbing.

Game is in full screen mode and graphics set low enough to give over 100fps.

Using HWiNFO suggests that the CPU and GPU temperatures don't get to hot (55C and 63C respectively)
