I quite like it on a few tanks to be fair.
Have to remember it does forward speed, reverse speed, engine power AND it'll impact your traverse rate.
Slow tanks, turretless TDs, and special cases like the Fatton where its a viable option over optics for example because of the high base view range.
Tanks I have liked it on are the Torty, Grille, Waffle IV, Bobject and Fatton.

Well, there are two aspects it gives. Top speed and more power to weight. I have tanks that won't even see the listed top speed, yet alone any new one with a Turbo. But the extra power to weight gain helps loads. So if they have lots of base horsepower, it's not a bad pick for some. As you gain speed faster, bleed a bit less and can get up to the front vs being super late on some like the T95 or even the AMX 40 or even the Valiant. Still worthless on tanks like the AMX 65t.
Then you have tanks where the base HP is not massive and the tank is super light that gain speed fast as is and reaches it with no issues. So far I only have it on tanks that can get past 60 tbh with fair gain to power to weight. As on most that are in the 45 to 50 area, the benefits vs higher up for me have been lacking to feel it's super worth it then.

Well, it turns the slow meduim VK30.01(H)....into a real medium
Yes its good on lower tier slower mediums. I use it on the P26/40, Strv 74 and M4A8 Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt can now keep up with T-34-85s. They need to have a reload time of 5 secs or under so you can afford to drop a rammer to free up a slot for the turbo. Means they can keep up with the other mediums. Might work well on the P43 bis which is a bit on the slow side but that really needs a rammer.
I've also got it on my king Tiger Captured which is a slug with standard power. I bought the tank after Wargaming withdrew the rental and forgot to re-install the turbo for the first battle. Couldn't believe how slow it was compared with having the turbo fitted.

below 25, yes; above, definitely no. 'xception being strvs since siege mode.

Not sold of the turbocharger though I may end up using it on a couple of tanks.
I tried it on a soviet light tank that was already pretty fast the T50-2 and just for fun added the consumable removed speed governer
That also adds 10% to engine power
I didn't notice a huge difference and today I was racing against another T50-2 and I was a little faster but not worth taking up an equipment slot imo.
Then I tried it on a valentine and again didn't notice much improvement.
Maybe its for those tanks that have ok speed but you just wish they were just a little faster..
I find the rotation mechanism the most useful piece of new equipment I have tested so far I will happily use it on tanks that cannot mount a stabiliser.
IMO its a better choice than a GLD

I have it on Eagle 7 , just means the tank can actually play better as a medium
on the valiant last its a must so you aren't lagging behind all the team
on TOG II its a must as well
I also have it on some fast tanks like progetto , batchat and tvp

The Turbocharger is great even if you can't reach the augmented top speed, if:
- Your tank is already very slow or slow, and/or
- Your tank has an insufficient power-to-weight ratio, and/or
- Your tank is sluggish because of terrain resistances, and/or
- Your tank relies on quick repositionings, such as going from cover to cover or when going hull down at a slope.
It can make-or-break vehicles like the T95, Super Pershing and KV-5; the former becomes substantially quicker and lags behind a lot less; the Super Pershing attains somewhat proper medium tank mobility; and the KV-5 can become a mean ramming machine, or become viable for flanks requiring a lot more mobility. Meanwhile, tanks like the Centurion can benefit from the improved power-to-weight ratio, as they can play their dirty hull-down tricks a lot more comfortably.
That being said, it's rarely an auto-pick. I'm using some on mine, in the following categories:
- Very slow tanks (eg TOG, Churchill VII, T95)
- Sluggish lights (eg AMX 13 75)
- Sluggish mediums (eg Super Pershing, M46 Patton)
- Hovertanks with comparatively lacking top speed and/or specific power (eg T 55A, T-62A, Object 140)
- Ramming memes (eg KV-5)
For ramming memes or improving very sluggish mediums like the Super Pershing I also recommend combining it with engine oil or a removed speed governor. In the case of ramming memes, using additional grousers also offers massive assitance.

I use it on my Strv 103b and it works in siege mode which i think helps a lot.
But maybe that´s just a feeling.

indeed its good compared to other tier 7 light tanks. After 3 marking it, i wish only more ammo in the tank. Curent ammo count can be finished in 2 minutes if shooting carelessly. The only options on it could be IRM or food for better traverse speed.
