I think I read an equipment special on Friday so time to some of that Class 1 equipment I found in my depot after I finally got back to the game after Equipment 2.0

Assuming they discount on Friday, it's time to sell off at full price now and rebuy the classes/or items you actually need on discount.

 

I had a lot of equipped mid-tier tanks that need class 2 gear etc.

To my knowledge there hasnt been a -50% equip sale since 2.0. (And you didnt clain there would be -50%)

Just pointing out if you didnt factor this in. It might be 0% or 25% or 50% who knows.

 

If there isnt one now - hoping theres one finally in year change festivities

Honestly, I take a few weeks away from the forum to work on myself as a person, reassure myself that I'm more than just a sarcastic grammar nerd with an eye for detail and an overwhelming need to be right about everything even when I'm wrong (especially when I'm wrong) and within five minutes of opening the forum, I'm back.

Been thinking about this too

I have already sold most class 1 GLDs (obsoleted by IRM) and would sell most class 1 camo nets and binocs as these are not v useful at high tiers (ok, maybe on some Swedish wedges, or some scouts) but would keep the rest and buy new class2/3 items

Seems like those equips were sold in vain. Still no announcement, last year's was 1-2 days in advance iirc.

You're just buying the discounted equipment at the sell price of the old equipment assuming 50% discount. You're not gonna gain any credits.

Of course, but I should be able to buy what I actually need back instead.   If I wait until the special starts I have to sell at 50% off.

I have equipped all of my tanks today. Some from the depot and many new- especially at lower tiers. I have 54 Class 1 EGLDs. That's a cool 16 million credits when the dust settles. I will keep a few, but reckon on selling, say, 44.

 

I had enough credits (over 45 million) to make the setups today and sell off the rest after the sale. It helps.
