Seriously,i haven't played it for over a year,and now that i came back to it,i can't even do 1k dmg per game. I'm running a 4 perk crew with all the equip for gun handling,and maybe 1/6 shots lands somewhere near where you aim them, 4/5 battles are tier 10, 1/5 tier 9. Even at 100 meters this tank has problems hitting anything, fully aimed shot on Mines on tank on the balcony at 60 meters when I can see his entire hull and turret? Nope,hits the ground at the very edge of the aiming circle.

It's like playing a garbage version of A45 at tier 10.

Not even in my KV2s have I managed to hit the ground 5 meters in front of me so many times, and KV2s un-aimed shots go to the center of the circle more often than fully aimed Patriot shots.

Have they nerfed this tank by accident, giving it a tier 6 potato canon? It wasn't this sh** before.

It's a premium so it's not been nerfed.

Nope. It's still a premium so buffs only policy. I've always had problems with that gun too so I know what you're talking about. Give it some time and you'll get a feel for the gun the more you play it. Although I don't really think that this is a practical advice since you seem to be doing fine overall.

it was never a good tank, which is why i traded it in after 10 games

 

who really wants a slower, more useless pershing, when pershing is crap anyway?

WG aren't gonna nerf premium tanks, ever. The only way an old prem tank can be nerfed is by buffing other tanks.

I find it slow, easily flanked by modern fast mediums and tier 8 lights.

 

Patriot is from the different time..

 

Renegade seems far better than Patriot.

Low alpha heavies suffer when everything and their granny has 280/320/390/440+ alpha.

 

Patriot turret is not reliable enough to peek as often as it's high rof and low alpha would need to be reliably high performing in current meta.

 

Or so I'm telling myself when utterly failing with it, again and again.

Patriot seems balanced imo, not every tank can be te best.

Seems society is moving in a direction where everyone is the same (not equal, equal would be a good thing but the difference between equal and the same is too difficult for some) and also everyone wants to be the best.

Also if players use the patriot to frontally face a VK 100.01 its a L2P issue, not that the tank is lacking.

For nostalgia's sake, here is the tank's performance in the first 6 months of its release compared to the last 6 months...

 

 

It lost about 1.5-1.7% win rate over the past 4 years. Certainly was a good tank, now it's just average. It won't hurt your overall performance too much but no 'roids.

No it hasn't been nerfed. WG have just released even better premium tanks and powercrept it.

It was pretty good when it was released but power creep gets even the best of them.

Ofc they have, they get nerfed by soft stats all the time, to make sure you buy the new ones that comes out.
