I've long said that WG give out rewards that appear to be generous but are actually pretty valueless.

 

Emblems, Personal Reserves and of course Garage Slots are all good examples of often useless rewards.

Emblems because they're cosmetic, small and many players don't bother with them.

Personal Reserves because many players forget to put them on and so have 100s unused.

 

For many years I always wanted slots and always ground the missions to get them.

About 18 months ago I stopped selling tanks and became a bit of  collector.

In Tank Rewards I always selected the reward that gave garage slots.

 

But now, even I find I have more than I need.

Currently I have 16 unused and 284 used.

I have 163 used and 96 unused as I sold a lot of tanks after equipment 2.

I have 383 used and 4 empty-but-already-reserved-for-tanks-I-am-grinding.

i have 66 tanks (most of which are prems) and 82 free slots....

Seriously though, I had about 15 or something last time I checked. It's the barracks space that's very limited currently since I've a bad habit of collecting useless crews.

I use tanks to store those in.
