That's actually the tank he drove in service that he owns. He had it moved to the US when he heard it was up for sale.

Yes indeed. He says exactly that in the video. To continue the saga of those steel beasts. After the NATO replaced them with M60s, Leopards,etc. A lot of of those older models ended up in service with either Latin American or middle east countries. Sometimes fighting against other American/western tanks.
The M47s were given a bloody nose by the Centurions and the Shermans in the battles of Asal Uttar and Chawinda.
