Now without going into to much detail sit down grab a Beer, Cocoa or Turpentine on the rocks Disco is about to tell a very interesting story,

Actually its not interesting in any way shape or form except to say last night i was paying my tier 7 French arty suddenly my aiming circle went big?

Qua? Circle go big why circle go big,

Disco is thinking something has gone wrong again, was it pesky earthquakes, my house is subsiding, aliens, my diet of tinfoil sandwiches, or my arm has decided not to co-operate with my brain again?

No none of the above,

It turns out a very naughty person in an M41 was ramming me and my compadre in his arty too, he was actively trying to drown and push us both all battle. I watched with some bemusement at his vain attempt's to achieve this act of hate, no doubt fueled by his getting clicked in previous battles, camping in his premium light tank

So Disco took a time stamp uploaded a reply via the ticketing system and got a swift and very polite reply saying action will be taken against this player, however they will not divulge any specifics.

All I can say is, looking at this particular fellow he hasn't played a game since so I can only make assumptions as, to their actions,

Hopefully this player will learn not to to be so arsenene and will avoid this duchebaggery in the future.

So the moral of this story is don't get mad get even use the reporting system via the website, it works, however don't do this unless it clearly falls under a violation, pointlessly clogging up the ticket system because of gold spam or arty is a waste of their and your time , use this feature wisely

However there's no denying a sense of satisfaction and tank justice that has been served by the Discontinued one

Just like the Intro to knight rider Disco lives a shadowy existence ,on a one man mission to track down those who think they are above the law.

A couple of months ago I reported someone for repeated pushing infractions, including shoving me out into enemy fire and got a nice reply from Support telling me action would be taken.

I reported someone else for similar pushing recently (they didn't like my position in a light), firing from behind to get me shot by return fire and a string of insults and was told to use the in-game reporting system and that my actions would be reviewed as well as my the guy I was reporting. And to ignore the guy pushing me out of a bush in future.

Seems it's a bit of a coin toss whether your report will be treated seriously.

I recently reported someone, sent in the replay, got a thankful reply telling me that action had been taken and a day later they still hadn't played any games.

It was on himelsdorf.  I drove into one of the windows and started trading across the field.  Then I got rammed from behind and prevented from retreating.  After a few seconds he got bored and went off to ram someone else.

So it may not work every time but it does work some of the time.

Keeping an eye on one currently. Pushing me yesterday evening on highway for 40 seconds straight into a Type 5 heavy and Obj 268 and arty. (Was in 50TP tier IX Polish heavy, he in a Conqueror). He then blamed me for blocking him and causing the loss (8k 300 45 player).

Very this.

Sounds like he was doing it wrong.

For everyone else out there that wants to punish arty more effectively:

1 - acquire vehicle with a long gun and good elevation (WT auf pz IV sounds nice)

2 - place gun inside arty gun barrel and allow him to do the work for you

3 - ????

4 - Profit.

I guess this shows that you don't perform this sort of griefing very often, given that it was removed from the game last year.

Source

The ability to damage an allied SPG by sticking your gun into theirs was removed completely. Now, if an HE shell meets an allied vehicle's gun, it will just go right through.

This gives me the big sad.

Haven't played in 2 years, was thinking of returning. Not too keen on the 'snowflake' changes recently.

You know, no more people screaming at you from the enemy team when you blindfire them, no more team damage and now even this. Everyone knew that teamkilling your platoon mates was an important game mechanic.

ive reported 4 bellends for the same infraaction and all never played for 3 days

funny that

my recipe is

1.get a beer from the fridge and pour a chaser and get a bowl of sprout flavoured crisps

2. extract replay from ssd

3. find your time stamps

4. compose a polite letter to support with time stamps and attach replay

5. sup beer and chaser and chomp on crisps

6. click send

7 wait till support replys

8. check the bellends account now and then and laugh hard

works every time

Oh wow, it's the first time I got a response this explicit from support:

Sans the snacks, I agree in full.
Contrary to some beliefs, reporting with a polite letter, replay and adequate time stamps do work wonders.

OP: Well done. We need more people reporting rule breakers.

I can confirm from both personal experiences and those of friends that the customer service does, indeed, act on proper reports. Serial offenders definitely get harsher punishments.

I remember when starting to report physics abuse through CS and sharing the results on forums of it actually working, the replies used to always be ''but it's just a coincidence they stopped playing'' and ''reporting doesn't do anything''. It's good to see that now so many have learned that reporting physics abusers actually does work, and we've even had cases where the person reporting got banned as well for doing the same thing as the person they reported.
