What tank that has the best armour and speed, dont care alot about soft stats (view range, camou etc), gun handling would be nice.

I just want something aggressive, to advance fast and get crapdone, afking for 10 mins aiming at a single spot isnt really my thing and boring af.

The chinese and russian tanks got my attention in that domain.

What tier X to grind my highly informative dudes?

Obj277 line öbj277 is pretty fast for a heavy got some armor and a good gun

IS 7 line Still a good solid tank  and pretty fast for a heavy.

Chinese i dont have For what i know chinese offer up some armor for speed over the Russian heavy's.

You a beginning player so Russians will probberly be the better choice .

1. you don't want to play t10 with that battle count.

 

2. you don't want/you're unable to play aggresive with that battle count. I.e. - you can be aggressive in any tank. I have no problems to push in any paper tank. As long as it has the speed obviously; doubt I'd be able to push in a st emil...

 

The key is to know when you have to be aggressive and when you have to be passive. And that comes with experience. Which you don't have. Basically - higher speed, given how you're currently faring => you'll just die faster. You won't be aggressive. You'll be the one that presses w, dies in min 2 and then pings the map. And the enemy team will be happy they got an easy farm.

 

get an honest t9 med and learn the game. And that's definitely not type 61, which is complicated to play.

 

You don't have any premiums(guess those 2 are received/tested something), which is also good. Don't waste money till you figure out you like the game or not. If you don't invest money yet... maybe leo pta? It has very good pen, so you won't lose as many credits while actually penning stuff. Also, 'xcept the t8 which is... unspectacular and the pta stock which is horrid, the whole line is valid. I.e. - you don't have many free xp sinks.

 

also, e75 is excellent if you're interested in heavy tank playing. And slow enough so you don't die too fast. At least after you learn the maps and how to drive into position without getting farmed. Watch some youtube/twitch.

 

p.s. - the tank you dream about(and most new players dream about) doesn't exist. Otherwise, we'd all play that tank. Also, the game is not exactly a shooter. You won't win because you have faster reactions or somethin'.

 

also:

 

a. don't start 10 lines. You won't have crews/credits to equip them. You did well so far.

b. if the general opinion about a line is that it's a stinker and you see 3 videos about how amazing tank x in that line is... The general opinion is right and that line is a stinker.

Well he is true about that 2175 battles aint enough knowledge  to play tier 10 (no matter who you are)

Or the credits or the crews.

 

Especially aggresive...where you can go in tier 6 without being spotted wont work in tier 10 

(LT with 6 skill crew will scope you out and his tank behind him will  put you on HD) (dead).

 

I have 24k games and even i am still learning daily

 

And if you go tier 10 make sure you got 2 solid players with you where you can learn from.

I dont have it myself so gun handling I cant speak for, but the russian med comes to mind.

From the tanks I've played (disregarding standard advice that maybe playing aggressively in tier 10 after 2k battles is more of a recipe for frustration than anything else), the Chinese heavies are the closest to what you describe.

Surely does. But it's a turretless td with bad traverse. Playing it well is hard. Playing turretless stuff in general is hard.

 

All the tank is angles... understanding when a bump or being below some position can suddenly make your armor model leak. Knowing where the bumps are. When you're overextending and risk getting flanked because no turret. Negociatnig the lack of gun depression via terrain. Etc.

 

playing it badly(just key w and hope for the best)... it's 2020, not 2018. I mean, it's still somewhat idiot proof, but way less than 2 years ago. Plus, I wouldn't say it's exactly an enjoyable gaming experience to play with that gun.

If a turret is not an issue. Assault TDs might be in your alley too. SU-100M1 at tier 7 can bounce more than the Tiger ever could. And it's faster and packs a punch. As top tier, it's a TD you play in their faces as lower-tier meds etc have not much of a chance vs that hull. Tier X is the same, just on steroids. Tier 9 might be the odd one out as it's open top and not that much in love with arty etc for that armor to work all the time.

WG really needs to add observer mode to this game, I would gladly spend some free times watching tier X matches with these tier rushers doing barely 1.2 shots of damage per game play.

Hell, put some Benny Hill music, drink some coffee and enjoy myself.

 

This sounds bad, I know, but really, the game suffers from this, you can play what you want, its a free game, all the yadda yadda, but end the end of the day the game suffers, the good players suffer and bad players suffer. 

 

Fudge it, get whatever you want, it really wont make a difference.
