Why have them at all?
A chunk of the lower tech trees were trashed and with blueprints, it's even easier to rush tiers.
I'm afraid I voted No.

Maybe blueprints should unlock as a feature for players who have researched one or several tier 10 tanks... Hm... Yes, they accelerate progress (a bad thing), but once you're at tier 10, you should have some idea of how tanks work...

Well, problem then is when WG add new trees to a nation. Half a year ago I hade 70+ Italian blueprints leftover and the Prog 65 researched. Bummer, tons of useless Italian blueprints.
But hello there! Now we get Italian HT techtree! All of a sudden i can research most of the HTs (if i get hold of enough universals)!
Eventough do have 150+ Czech and Swedish BPs with both tech trees fullt resarched...

That's more or less how it works now if it's a random drop. You can't get nationals from tech trees you have 100% that way, thus it converts it to a universal regardless. However, on predetermined drops, like 5 nationals you can get via bonus missions, or next week via holiday ops. Then it won't be converted, as that's the reward you get.
Do I mind? Tbh no. Why? I have over 1300 universals as is I never will use. So I prefer nationals, even if I have 100% completed it. As when that new line comes. I'm ready for it. As I was with the Polish meds, or the UK wheels or Italians when they come. As I have over 100 in each one as is.

Turned into universals? No.
Turned into something actually useful? I hope so... ![]()

Well you'd think they would have an idea but I'm rather tired of watching my entire team rush to one side of Live Oaks and then sit and hide in the furthest corner, be it the water side or town side, ready to snipe anyone driving past.
Assault maps where the attacking team sit and try to out wait the defenders.
Lakeville where 9/10ths of the team head to the valley and stop and wait for the enemy to completely surround them and then complain bitterly.
Abbey where once again, 9/10ths of the team go river, get stopped by 3 enemy tanks and wait for the twelve enemy tanks to come round behind when they can [edited]about how bad their team mates are.
Overlord goes beach, Himmelsdorf go hill, Cliff go valley or Ensk ignore the field. You get the idea.
I wouldn't mind if they pushed through but no, they want to stop and have a chat or something.
It's bad enough at tier 4-7 but 8-10 can start to get expensive.
These are tier 8-10 and we've all been involved in bouts like that.
I don't enjoy wasting my time playing a competitive game with people that don't seem to want to win.
What is the point of enabling these players to get up the ladder any faster?
