Skip to 15:30 for gameplay. Mute upon preference.

No offence to AEG but not my cup of tea.

Tank does look like it will generate a ****load of money for WG...

OP? It seems situational vs 100% broken. In the open it dies instantly, and on a ridgeline like the C AX, it can hold it all day.

But as they said in the video, we suspect it will be in the boxes. As the content of those has yet to be revealed.

This is true, although out in the open it can at least get 3 shells into an opponent if you are pushing medium to late game. Probably its biggest weakness is 1400 hp which is the lowest for a T8 heavy. Like the 274a WGing are saying you can have cool tanks but they'll be more fragile. Not sure how well the spaced armour will work against arty but Edvin was taking 350 hits from them so it's probably just a gimmick for that.

It'll be OP until people figure out where to shoot it, as usual. Still, it'll give the moaners a new tank to highlight as being pay-to-win, which is a nice little Christmas bonus for them. :)

Don't watch skill4ltu's video on it. He only got like one decent battle and got overrun the other two and said it had 'bad pen' because he couldn't pen the cupola of a KV-4 which is 220mm vs the 218mm standard rounds, so he just got unlucky.

The armour looks really good though, it's gonna be a monster on ridgelines.

Not sure on OP, strong hull down on a ridge, not so much elsewhere.

Like the 274A WG seem have to balanced out the armour with atrocious gun handling, sluggishness and lowish HP.

They have also added bad DPM for the auto-reloader, long intra-clip and relatively low pen.

Three artas asked me to say hello and that they can't wait to see you holding your ridgeline.

Yeah the Pen is a bit of a problem although it is a bit easier to get shots into weak parts of tank with the gun depression as well as the frontal armour holding up to some degree in those positions.

The HE is quite interesting with 105 Pen. Most auto-loaders and auto-reloaders don't tend to switch ammo types much because of the long clip reload but there are a number of heavy tanks that have parts of the turret armour that rely purely on sloping for bouncing shots. If you get in a T10 match and face Super Conquerors ore 60TPs then you can easily hit parts of the turret that have poor armour thickness. Even something like a Chrysler K GF only has 100mm of armour on the top of the turret so 105 Pen against that would be interesting. Edit: Just realised the side armour of a Chrysler K GF is 101.6 mm so you can kiss that tank goodbye.

Watching a Russian guys YouTube video on this, people were shooting HE at the Bisonte because they couldn't pen the turret and the spaced armour ensured that the guy barely took any damage.

Yeah, not sure why they are bringing out new tanks that are weak against arty. Don't they read the forum? Luckily arty use at T8 seems to be lower than other tiers I think?

I suspect like the Progetto, using that burst fire too early will get most killed. And most just start with it for some reason, I doubt this will be different. Thus in most fights, it will tone it down a bit. The spaced armor on the turret did seem a bit strong. But that spot above the spaced armor and next to the mantle on tank.gg vs most normal ammo is still has a high chance head-on. But if he is on max gun depression, that spot is 40% with his own HEAT shells, and 18% with his own normal ammo. But if he turns the gun away, the mantle's flat side appears above the spaced armor and that's 130mm, so about 180mm ish effective. That's probably the best chance most will have.

Yeah, as indicated by every review. If arty can hit you, it doesn't matter.

90+% of tanks are fckd by arty and dead when caught in the open, these are not balancing factors.

Gun/armour/mobility are balancing factors.

Yeah the spaced armour on the turret, especially when using gun depression, actually looks useful and makes it kind of hard for HEAT to get through. APCR might be a different matter.

I want British fantasy tanks instead of Italian fantasy tanks.

Gun/armour/mobility are balancing factors.

It is relevant and a factor for a "op ridgeline chief2.0" argument.

Couldn't watch the video, would be nice but those two annoying dudes and stupid zoom-ins etc ruin the fun.

Looks like a tank that could be dangerous in the right hands.
