Spall liners should indicate how much dmg did they reduce.

as they depend on how thick your armor is where you take damage, they are a little useful, except against direct hits when arty hits you on the roof where your armor is thin.
I found spall liners are most useful on ... arties. they prevent blowing up from a near miss if the enemy arty does counter-arty.

never ever expect a spall liner to help
make sure arty cant hit you
be aware where you should be its like expecting an umbrella to help you in a tornado
it aint happening bro/sister/They /saxsan

They are most useful against artillery stun duration and all HE knocking out your crew members; not damaging you. In that capacity they stack great with large medi kits.

its effects should be MUCH stronger.
they are useless and make your tank heavier for no benefit.

They only work for super heavy's like MAus,Type 5 ect.
Or heavy armored TD like T110e3,T95
I would not take a spalliner on Meds LT's or paper TDS
Also tanks like Obj 277 or IS7 T110e5 a spalliner is not worth it (if you have to choose between equipment)

He shells are very effective vs thin armor and less effective vs thick armor.
WG implemented spall liner such a way, it increases armor thickness vs HE shell by a certain percent.
Therefore, Spall liner does not help much if you use it on a lightly armored tank.
