Sometimes explosions and smoke, fire distract me...

I am looking for those competitive settings without those effects but I can't find them..

Scroll all the way down to "extra effects". On low, it more or less turns off explosions, smoke, and other effects from guns etc both in external view or just sniper mode.

Yeah lets use mods to turn off graphical features which are optional (and therefore disableable) in the base game because downloading something to do something for you is easier than doing it yourself.

My GOD guys... :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

So if you disable explosions, you will no longer get hurt?

Hurt yes. But not blinded by the dust it kicks up. So no more sands in your tiny eyes.

It's possible to retain the extra effects and not have those things. Hence my suggestion. Try pulling your head from your rusty sheriffs badge see if you like the light....

Use Aslain modpack.

It contains plenty of mods. (All of them are legal)

Start the modpack installer.

Select the one you need. That is somewhere at the end of the list.

Here you can download it from WG's official mod website.
